Calls everyday then hangs up

calls multiply times a day for over a month now. Called chase and they say the do not know this number but can never get though on the 866 8758720

WHY DO THESE PEOPLE KEEP CALLING ME.. I WANT IT TO STOP

started getting these calls a few weeks ago.

My number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  mind you they are calling only my (personal) unlisted cell phone number (and I don't have "unlimited minutes" plan).  I just filed the complain with the FCC. It takes five minutes perhaps, but it's worth it!  

Who signed me up for constant harrassing phone calls to my cell for promotional gift card programs (scams)?

WE NEED TO GET 20/20 or 60 MINUTES TO INVESTIGATE THESE RUDE, RELENTLESS, RUBBISH TELEMARKETERS.

***If anyone reading this has any strong federal government or big-time media connections,or even with "VISA INTERNATIONAL",  please pass along this "news tip" so we can finally get some well deserved relief.***

I have tried calling the alternate number to get my cell phone number off the list and it is no longer valid.  I keep getting calls from this number and when I pick up, they hang up. I just don't see how this is productive for Bank of America. So I am not really sure who this is, just what the internet shows for this number.  Really guys, someone needs to find who ever and get them to stop!

Same deal here, they keep calling then hanging up.  Finally, they actually talked to me yesterday when I answered, and it was someone from Chase trying to sell me three different services, offering a $300 gas card whether I kept the services or not.  When I asked if it would cost me anything (up front), they said "no"; but at the end when they were reading me my "protection disclosure" it came out that there was separate shipping and handling on all three different offerings, so I said that changed things and I wasn't going to proceed, and "click", they immediately hung up on me.  I think this is a scam, watch out!

They call at least once a day and then when you answer they hang up. How do you stop this?

They say they're from Capital One and said I was a Preferred Customer and asked if I'd like to purchase a $300 gas/grocery gift card. I declined. They were persistant in calling me. I told them I no longer have an account with Capital One, but they said I did. Thereafter, I called (the real) Capital One and they said I no longer have an account open with them. Since then, I've told 4 representatives to no longer call me and put me on their DO NOT CALL List. The phone calls haven't stopped.

I keep on getting calls from the 866 875-8720 and when they call there is no one there. When you call the number back, you recieve a busy tone.  I never have anyone pick up the call.   They call at 3-4 times a week.   It really is annoying.

I agree this person talked so fast and when I tried to stop her from talking she said quit yelling at me!  I said I raised my voice to get you to stop talking.  i asked her who she was with and she told me Citi Bank....I don't have or never had an account with Citi Bank and I want nothing from you!  Then she yelled back at me,"I told you quit yelling at me _itch and hung up on me!  Since that day they have called 4 times a day.  I don't answer anymore!

This number is a pain in the ass!!! I've been getting calls from them almost every day. When I call back, it rings a couple of times and then it has a busy signal. Tried to block this number but t mobile can't block these types of numbers. I guess it's included in the 800, 900 area codes that can't be blocked. The representative at t mobile suggested I google that number and came to this website and was amazed at how many people was being harassed like myself! Didn't even know that Chase was involved. I did manage to block that 609-233-7229 number on my cell phone so I'm crossing my fingers that it will block the 866-875-8720 number. Meanwhile will go to the do not call site and add these numbers to my list....wish me luck!

They called me religiously every single day for weeks. So one day I decided to take the call. They said they were Capital One calling about my credit card with account # ending XXXX, and I would be offered a $300 gas card if I would be willing to look through some marketing material as long as I pay for $13 shipping charge. I asked the guy which vendors would I be able to use the gas card, the guy just said all the major ones and wouldn't give me specifics. I thought...hmmm, better not take the chance of getting ripped off, so I kindly passed thinking I should never get a call from them. The very next day, they called again, and I ignored it for a few days, and finally picked it up again and told them, I already passed on the offer...but this time I notice the account number they quoted wasn't even with Capital One. I'm kind of worry what kind of info do these people have on me?!?!

Right, if you have a Comcast phone, you probably already know that *60 can't block 800/888/877/866/etc numbers (HURRR). And also that the tech support is helpless to block them for you.

BUT BUT BUT! By accident I discovered that *80 CAN! Works the same as *60 except it doesn't tell you that "number is invalid" when you enter 866-875-8720.
Right after "Capital Rewards" or "800 Service" or whoever hang up on you or vice versa, pick the phone back up. Dial *80. Wait through the prompt, then press #01#. It should read back the number (866-875-8720) and tell you it's on the list.
Don't forget to press 3 to turn call blocking on if it isn't already.

Numerous calls daily very frustrated...I would love to file a legal suit against this company

They kep calling saying I have won something from Bank of America. I kep telling them to take me off their call list, but they call sometimes FIVE or more times a day! This is CRAZY>

i get calls from this # 866-875-8720 10 to 12 times a day and i can not figure out who it is and get get them to stop anyone know how to stop it i tried the other # and says no longer in service

this number has called me now every single day atleast 5-10 times a day for the past 2-3 months. i have told them to stop calling me and told them if they dont stop calling me i was going to get the police involved and low and behold they called me again that day and the next day. so they are very very sickening. they just dont get the point that you dont want them to call.  all they are trying to do is get money for nothing and for things that you will never recive....i would like it to stop. and the card number they are giving me when they call is the card that is no longer active.  it is very stressfull having to deal with them every day
