I just got a call from this number. I waited for my answering machine to answer they hung up-AGAIN. I am in Alaska and get really tired of this number showing up on my caller ID.

They called me about 5 minutes ago. Normally I don't answer because I get a few spam phone calls as a byproduct of having my resume on Monster.com, but today I answered because the phone calls are annoying. Talked to a lady that asked for me by name. I said "Speaking, but take me off your list, please." She said "No." and hung up on me.

called back and asked for a manager and when I talked to him i told him he was violating the Do not call list and i told him that i was going to take him to court for harassment and he sad they would fight me till i ran out of money because they are a fortune 500 company and that is why the have many 100K lawyers.. I reported them to the do not call list

They started calling me about 2 weeks ago. Told me I had filled out a survey and was previously offered a Florida vacation for $498 which I had declined. Said they can now offer me the same vacation for $99 - a weeks stay in Orlando, tickets to Universal plus a rental car. The only catch is to listen to their sales pitch for a time share. I told the girl that I wasn't interested. I've received calls from three different people so far, and have told all three that I'm not interested.

I am on the do not call list and this number keeps calling me.  Who do I notify to report their violation of the do not call list?

Called, left no message.  Good thing I checked this site first and did not answer.

They never leave a message.  But they call up to 6 times a day.  Glad to hear what they are all about.  I'm sure, as another poster stated, that these are one of many groups that have found a way around the "do not call" registry.

Recieved 3 or 4 calls from this number. Answered once and they said I had signed up for some vacation package. All I had to do was pay $99 for this package. They had my name, e-mail address, and state I lived in. When I tried to say I wasn't interested, he hung up on me.

didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer it.  they left no message, so why would i even consider returning the call?

especially since i can type the number into the searchbar and find out that this is yet another idiot who wants to waste my time with yet another scam.

i'm on the 'do not call' list, too.  gee - it does a lotta good.

the wording used to be:  'put me immediately on your do-not-call list' ... and then if they called you again within 6 months of you telling them that (be sure to write down the date you said it) then they could be charged per time they called you.  it was supposed to be $250 the first time and up till it hit $1500.  i heard this on a tv talk show, but haven't been able to find out lately what the exact wording is.  obviously it isn't 'put me immediately on your do-not-call list' ...

does anybody know how to stop these idiots?  and others like them?

I changed my out going message to modem/fax machine sound. 1) No one ever waits 30secs for the beep. 2) It apparently messes with computer dialers because I rarely get more than 1 call from a telemarketer.

Called again; we are on the do not call list....some help...the gov. is either overwhelmed by all these scam artists, or they're in on it...they are even calling on my cell phones!!!!!!!!!!Anyone hear about "the Shadow government"?.........I NEVER answer unknown name...everyone I know and/or do busines with has a NAME.

Called 3 times, even after I told them not to. Last time was at
MIDNITE! Got up and saw the number and thought my father in law had died. Why else would someone call at midnight. They will burn in H$LL

The call was received on Sunday 6/28/09 at noon.  I hung up on it. I googled and found that it may be Etour and Travel, out of Orlando.  They are the worst and have an "F" rating with the BBB.

Called on a Sunday afternoon, but did not leave message.  Called the number back on Monday morning, and they were saying I had a credit on file for a Florida vacation.  They told me this before even finding out if I was the correct person on file.  When I told the lady I knew it was a scam and asked to be removed from their calling list she seemed VERY suprised.  "Aren't you Terry?  No......

These people keep calling and all I hear is dead air.  I guess they realize their "You purchased a vacation in 200x and have a credit..." crap won't work when calling a church.

They called asking for a person I never heard off, then they asked me if I wanted a vacation and told me they were a travel agency in Orlando Florida....I asked them to remove my number then I hanged up, they called back .... I hanged up.

I picked up my cell phone to answer their call. A woman came on and said "You're a f------ ass" and hung up. I called the number back and spoke with a man who claimed to be in charge of the people promoting trips. I told him what happened and he laughed and repeated what I said and asked why she would do that, continuing to laugh. Then he hung up.

Called my house, asked for both my parents by last name, when I informed him that they weren't available and asked if I could take a message he asked my age, told me in a mildly suggestive voice that I sound 15 then hung up on me.  I've never had a scammer hang up on me before...it was interesting to say the least.  If that number were in my area code I would be very creeped out.  Never mentioned the goal of the call.

Heads up folks they are calling the 613 area code today.

I have had 15 calls from 866-897-2756 over the last 10 days. When I told them I was on the National Do Not Call List they laughed and said oh but we have your email address - and proceeded to list my WORK email address which is given to no one externally.  I told them to remove me and they said they would.  They kept calling and when I answered again and said the prior rep would remove me this obnoxious guy on the phone starting laughing and said "haha we will keep calling you until you buy!"  True to his word - they keep calling every day!!!  Why can't anyone w/ the attorney general's office do ANYTHING to STOP these people??!!!!
