Just received call from this number, no one (or thing) responds.

This number calls with no one on line.

Didn't answer. Saw the number on the caller ID and checked it out on Google.

I received a call  from 866-948-0585 the caller hung up.  Tried to call the number back, but got a dial tone after it rang once.

The reason you may not get a response when answering this phone number is it is possibly checking to see if they have contacted a valid number. When you answer, they have their answer without having to respond to you.  One solution I find that has worked in the past is to download the disconnect ring tone.  It's that three sounds followed by the voice of an operator stating the number you have reached is no longer in service. More than likely, you are being called by a robo call computer and it listens for a disconnect tone or a voice.  That is why you often experience a delay when you pick up your phone; the computer is either turning you over to a human being or is recording the status of the number it just dialed. Play the disconnect tone after two rings or more on your phone and you will find the number and frequency of these irritating calls will cease.

I answer phone and nobody is on the other end.

9:59 pm on Sept. 29, 2012 ; answer the phone and no one says a word! Try to call back and get some funky elevator type music, then silence; it doesn't disconnect only silence.  Kinda creepy if you ask me, and no reason whatsoever to call this late!

Called and never said anything

Called and hung up.  For some odd reason when I picked up, my own phone had hold-music playing thereafter.

Has called me several times  never answers me. When I call the number back music comes on for 30 seconds then hangs up.Quite annoying!

Same thing, but when I called the number back I got music for a few seconds then dead line

stp calling you say nothing

I keep getting calls from this number as well as some similar numbers all hours of the day multiple times a day. No one ever says anything. I keep programming these numbers in my phone as do not answer. I reported these numbers to the FCC. You should do the same.

Receive a call and hang up.  Repeated.  Getting irritating.
