I received a call from this number - and they asked for a name of a person who doesn't live here. The person was very polite. I checked my accounts with BofA and made sure there was nothing funky going on.

Got a call from this number. Said they were with BoA Cash Rewards. As it happens I did open an account with them recently but I was skeptical about this number. All she did was confirm my name (which she already had), and then told me about the offers. Never asked for any information, etc. Still skeptical but since they didn't ask for any info then I suppose it might not be too bad.

Return missed call from 877-201-3564.  It was Bank of America, courtesy call regarding the credit card account I just opened. (yes, I did just open a new card w/ them)  They did verify my identity, reviewed the rewards available on my card, activated my card, and thanked me for  being a client.  THIS CALL WAS LEGIT BANK OF AMERICA.

This is somebody impersonating Bank of America that keeps calling me.  It is FRAUD.  Do not give any info if you get this call.

Very confusing reading all the conflicting comments here. I was away from my phone, but saw that I missed a call from this number. There was no message left. From skimming through the pages, it sounds like it may have been Bank of America. I just applied for a credit card from them a couple weeks ago. I guess I'll pre-emptively call the bank first, before they can call back.

If returning a suspicious call to a bank, simply call the number on the back of your debit card, credit card or bank statement.
Don't actually call the suspicious number that appears in your phone.

Keep getting call from this 877 # googled it saw it was a fraud call. Luckily never answered.

I got this call and didn't answer but then they left a voice message that sounds like someone chewing or people making out or water being splashed around. I am confused and weirded out.

Received three calls from this number, and none of them left a voice mail. I contacted BoA to confirm this number and was told that this is NOT a BoA phone number, and I was told that their fraud department has been well aware of this. I proceeded to block the number afterwards.

Got a call today. The guy mentioned his name and said he is from Bank of America and repeated my name and asked if it is correct.  I confirmed and then he asked if I had any questions regarding my credit card. I said I don't have any. He ended the call saying that if I have any questions, I can call the number on the back of the card.  I also noticed that there was a missed call yesterday from the same number, which was disconnected in just 2 or 3 rings before I could respond.  It appears to be fraud related.

i got a call from this number, when i answered there was a lot of loud background noise and this guy didn't even say anything until i said hello three times, he confirmed my name and my email (it was stupid of me to say it was my email, but my email is literally my name). i tried to call boa today and i was on hold for 20 minutes with the fraud department without getting to talk to anyone. guess a lot of people might be having the same issues as us. i called them back on my house phone and it was a male automated voice, not the female. most likely a fraud caller, but we'll see when i go to boa this afternoon. somehow this guy knew i took out a credit card recently... sketchy.

Person called me, but I ignored it since I don't know the number. Specially when it started with a 877 number.

Its not fraud they just go over with you info in the terms and agreement
