Someone has called my house several times a month. Its annoying, I am recovering from a major operation.

OK folks I just called the N.R.A's main headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia (1-800-672-3888 Then Press 0 for main operator) and talk to someone in members services and asked the lady if 1-877-211-0329 was one of their phone numbers, she took down the number and put me on hold for about 20 seconds and when she returned she confirmed that 1-877-211-0329 was indeed one of the several numbers that belongs to a company they use called (INFO SECURE) who the N.R.A contracts with to solicit donations and members for the N.R.A.
This has nothing to do with that LEFT WING COMMIE SCUMBAG Bloomsberg  or any Antigun vermin. For those who do not believe me check it out yourself by calling the N.R.A's main phone number like I did and give them the number and they will confirm it.

It seems to me that a organization like the NRA would know that harassing type phone calls would turn people off the org.
Recently it was In the papers that the Koch Bros and Michael Bloomburg , wealthy anti gun people, announced they were
going to match the NRAs spending. Wouldn't it be very clever for them or others to buy up a block of those type of
numbers and do this type of harassment to p**s people off at the NRA.  All of you who have gotten so mad as to
quit the NRA because you believe it is the NRA calling you. Could be you've been duped into quiting the primary org that
fights for your gun rights.  I know that when you join they SEND you a lot of mail asking for more money , but those are easily thrown away. Try making a donation, "in your name" to any charity and see the requests from that agency or entity fill your maibox  Its the nature of the beast. Just trying to give you something to think about.  I get the same calls you people get but I'm not going to start quitting an org that's has helped me keep my gun rights for so many years.  I don't answer these calls but I do google them occasionaly. That's how I found this site.

I have verified this.  It is the National Recovery Agency. They try and collect from people who may or may not owe a debt. They try and make people think they are the National Rifle Agency but they are scammers

What help was the main headquarter,s Rep ? Can they stop these calls or let them continue ?

Same here.Even though I want to protect my rights and I basically agree with their program the constant harassment has caused me to not renew with them.Mabey that new group of nuts NAGR would be a better choice.?

Using logic, if the goal is to get money, they would answer the phone.  This company uses numerous numbers and they harass me almost daily. It is not the NRA. I confirmed it with them.  I hope the people responsible rot in hell with the rest if their socialist comrades as there is no.hope of stopping them.

It's the National Rifle Association. I  Called it just now 11/21/14.  

The reason the line may seem dead is if you had advanced phone services like me you are on hold as you were ROBO Dialed from a specific list, not random, that is illegal.  However since they are a registered non-profit, the DoNotCall List DOES NOT APPLY.  They are supposed to avoid cell numbers unless you used that number for registering to vote, etc, then it's deemed Ok.

Telemarketers calling on behalf of non-profits are also exempt.

If you don't like the calls, it's easy, have an advanced phone system like me that blocks all calls, except people I allow, or just ignore them.  Stop getting so mad. Move on, life is short.


Any non-profit can call anyone except cell phones, unless you used it to register to vote, put it in the phone book, gave it to a magazine company, have a public facebook profile, old myspace profile.

Says it National Rifle association.  Not for sure but i called and listened to the speel .  After you isten u get 2 options.  press  2 to talk to someone and press 3 to be removed from list.  Pressed and 3 we shall see.

It is a B.S. call from the NRA, NOT THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION!  They are a group funded or hired by Democrats and other Leftists to harass gun owners. Some of these telemarketing firms pretending to be the NRA are funded by anti-gun billionaire and former New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg. They have gun ownership info they shouldn't have and "magazine subscription" info, and any info they could buy that they think indicates you are a gun owner.  The idea is to harass you if you are a gun owner, and get you to drop your NRA membership, because it is the most influential pro-gun ownership group in the U.S. They hope you are an NRA member, but if not, no big deal to them.  Basically they are telemarketers doing a dirty and unethical job for Democrats. Pure Scum!

Whether its the NRA or the NRA.  Either one, why answer it?  If the Call does not come up on my phone as someone I know,  I ignore the call, Simple as that.  BTW  it is the National Rifle Assc.  I am a member and they call constantly.  I just ignore the call
