ive been called by this number 2 times in less than an hour, i dont have an account or anything with Chase bank and i would like for this to end. the calls are becoming increasingly annoying

Missed a call from this number on my cell phone.  Tried to return the call and appeared to from Chase credit services.  The automated voice asked me for my credit card number.  Why would Chase call ME and ask for my credit card number?
Went online and checked my balance, then called Chase from the number on the website.  Asked the representative about the call and he said they were not making these calls.  This is very likely phishing.  Don't give out your card number!

This does appear/sound legit.  Chase is winding down their account-activity voice alert system and after March will no longer automatically call you with an alert regarding your account activity.  They will only notify you by email or text after that. The message that it plays when it calls you announces that reduction in service. (just like they are also cutting other services...you'll soon have to pay them to have a checking account..but that's another story.)   This system also serves as a gateway into Chase account services if you call the number back.  Since the assumption is that you want info on your account, it needs your account number.

Call - just let them ring the phone and the hang up after four rings.  Have ID

This can be a scam. I received a call from this number, asking me to verify my account info as there appeared to be fraudulent activity on my account. I hung up and called the number on the back of my Chase card, and was told it was not Chase calling me.

I am aware of the access code process via texts/calls/emails, as I've used that service in the past, but this was not the purpose of the caller who called me. I was called by a scammer from this number. They may have the ability to make caller ID appear as though it's a legit Chase phone number.

For those who are unsure which post(s) to believe here, I say better to be safe than sorry. Don't take that chance. Think about it-Why would Chase call you and ask for your account information??

Just received a eFax from the number which according to this website is fraud. I am not expecting anything from Chase so I have forwarded to Chase security. It came as an e-mail eFax to download 2 page fax. I deleted it instead.

Received 23 calls continuously (1 minute apart) this morning, caller ID showing 630-847-0712 from Oak Brook, IL.  Three voice mail messages left stating to call 877-242-7372 to get Chase online w/ 8 digit codes to access online banking.  
All three voice mail indicated (3) different codes.  Banks do not respond in this manner.  It is a big scam and DO NOT give them any information.  Block their number .... don't help a SCAMMER.

These are phishers, they claim to be with Chase and give you bogus  info in the hopes that you call 18663553744 they take you through a series of questions and then get enough of your info steal your money do not call the number...

I dont even use Chase Bank, no credit card either.. and they called this morning around 6:30am... really po'd me!

Somebody is trying to log on to an account using a different computer than Chase recognizes and the phone number they gave Chase to get a log on code when they set up the account was wrong, it was yours.  They probably mis-keyed the number and didn't check.

This number calls my cell phone everyday 877 242 7372. Who is this? I want to stop the calls.

This number apparently from Chase is a spam. The person left a message saying I am facing foreclosure. The person speaking has a heavy foreign accent with a very common American name. I think is a fraud.

Constantly calls from this number

First I got a TON of calls, now they're texting like crazy. So I called the real Chase at the number in back of my card and was told: IT'S A PHISHING SCAM and NOT from Chase! Email the call/text info to abuse@chase.com so they can track down the critters. If you got hooked, let Chase know and they can remedy the consequences.

Received 3 calls in a row from this number on my cell phone.

Received a call, caller knew last name, female stating that she was from home service center. S asked if I couļd hear her.  I read an article in the news paper that scammers were call and asking if you can hear me and if you answered yes they would use you voice to obtain your personal information.   I do not know how it works but law enforcement advised that you should never answer yes.  After I did not answer she hung up.

It's not fake or a scam. Someone is accessing their account from a different computer than usual and Chase sends a code to the associated phone number to vrrify that it really is you. Unfortunately they have either got the wrong phone number on the account or someone is trying to get into your account. If you have a Chase account contact tjem to verify that no one is trying to access yourbaccount illegally. Use the number on your card or from the Chase office you normally use.

This is a scam.  It is not Chase although the caller ID says CHASE.  I only took the call because I have a Chase account.  Caller said she needed to verify that I have a wood frame house.  I asked "who are you representing?"  She said "Certified Home Windows".  I said "this is a crap call" and hung up the phone.
