I got the same call stating they are from the vystar credit union but the name of the phone number was Bath Savings. I checked my account and there was nothing on hold and no money taken out of my account.

I received a call from this number saying that they were calling to verify that it was me, and that there were charges on my VyStar Credit Union account that seemed fishy. They were going to freeze the account transaction. I’m not sure about the number I’m going to call the bank on Tuesday because there’s going to be a holiday on Monday. No internet usage till I’ve from the bank.

I have had this call a couple of times unfortunately and it is legit.  I have a credit union that uses their services.  My card got hacked and I did speak to credit union as well.  The call it self seems VERY suspicious but it isn't a scam.  I do recommend you simply call your bank/credit union if you get this call to see if they caught something going on with your card.

Scam trying to get you to call back. If you suspect questionable debit card activity call your bank and NOT the number they give you.

This was a legitimate phone call.  Checked my bank records immediately and found that someone had charged approximately $250 - at a Lowe's and Target out of my shopping area.  Card was immediately cancelled

I rcvd a call from this number. Be sure to call your credit union to confirm if you have pending charges you may have not made. It could be possible that you credit union maybe holding a charge because it look suspicious.  I ignored the call yesterday and my card was blocked . Went to my C/,U and it was a pending charge in dispute that they thought was fraudulent.

This number called to inform my mother of fraudulent activity. Being a skeptic, we hung up and called her bank. The bank confirmed that this is the fraud department used by several banks.

I’ve gotten calls from this number before and THEY WERE LEGIT!  My bank confirmed it and these folks were correct,  my CC # had been used fraudulently and they caught. It.  The criminals hit us originally for over $1k......  Don’t return those calls at your own risk, abut at the same time, be vigilant about what info you give out.

Called claiming to be Vystar credit union. Had my full name and last four of my card number. Gave me a long case number and this toll free number to call. Said there were fraudulent charges. Immediately called Vystar using the number on the website and they verified that they did not call me. This is a sophisticated phishing scam.

I'm amending this post. Turns out that this was a legit company hired by Vystar Bank called EnFact. They do send out robocalls which sucks if you ask me. Vystar should be the one calling. They also sent me an email which got picked up by my provider and sent to the spam folder. Never went into my inbox. They ended up canceling a part that I ordered to fix my air conditioner. This real made me angry. I told Vystar that the first time I called the phone center they couldn't find anything about it in my account. That's because the third party fraud company can't post anything to the account, only tell the bank to delete the charge. Totally crappy system.

This was a legit fraud prevention call. I think the call itself comes from a third party but it was initiated by my bank.

This is a valid number, but we called our bank directly and got it straightened out with them. We were on a trip traveling in a direction that was suspicious to the fraud dept and they just wanted to verify it was us.  Recommend you always call bank or credit union direct to confirm. Our bank handled it and cleared the fraud alert without us having to call the actual fraud alert hot line.  Hope this helps.

For people saying this is legit, it is not. I spoke to my bank directly and this is a phishing scam. This number may have originally been a fraud number back in 2016-2017, but it is no longer owned by a fraud department for ANY credit union or bank. Do NOT give them any information.
