Some chick named Ashley Galati called  my house looking for my ex-boyfriend. He and I haven't dated in over 18 years. Asking me to get a message to him, and that he gave her my number to reach him. These people are scum sucking pigs with no tact.

These are scum bag debt collectors. They will harrass your neighbors and family. Tell your neighbors they will sue them if they call them at the house again.
DO NOT give them any financial information over the phone.
Low lifes.
THEY buy debt from other debt collection companies. Bottom feeders. Do no answer threaten to sue them!!

They called my neighbor & said they had a serious message to give but couldn't contact us! How dare she, Tavra Jones at ext 54918. Something needs to be done about this.

The caller blurred her name, saying she was with "Parkwood" something or other.  They were looking for information on someone whose last name sounded like mine when it gets butchered, but with a first name I do not know.  She left two messages while we were out of town to call her at Ext. 57314.  It ain't gonna happen.  They can't be calling about me cuz my credit is fine, with scores over 800.

If you owe money to someone you AT LEAST owe an explanation or some form of respectful contact... I believe that ignoring calls you self inflicted and hanging up on strangers is rude.

They called my direct work number asking for information about one of our employees.  We are forbidden to pass on that information as we are a defense contractor, and we are required to  report this to the DOD as a possible security violation and attempt to collection sensitive information on our employees.  These guys were really dumb to call us.

Asking me about family members' information tel. no. and address regarding a persoanl matter he didn't go into details as to why he needs that info..

Same guy called me today MR. WHEELER looking for my sister. Also asked me also about my parents. Sad to say they are now deceased so he should have fun finding them. If he was a such a  good dectective... he would have called my sister and found her....NOT ME. What an idiot. I think everyone should get together and we will all have a nice law suit for harassment...how's that MR. WHEELER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called my tenat asking information in regards to me, she works for the county,i dont care what bill i owe, thats is illegal....

Got a message from "Ann Mitchell" -her message was slurred so I couldn't really tell what she was saying or what she wanted...something 13 Location Information for (names)...if we had any information that would be useful, to call her back toll free at 877-258-0504, ext 58002. So I called that number, and got a voice mail,  "This is the office of Kevin Bess, please leave your name, phone number and account number if you have one, & I will get back to you as soon as possible..."

Stephan left his # 877 288-0504 x54524 at my parents house.  First he asked for my dad.  Mom said he is not home, then he proceeded to state he has an agreement with me and my dad that he needs my signature on !??!  What?  Anyway - mom took his name and number and stated she would pass on the msg. Thanks everyone for the info I read.  These are either debit collectors or scam artists.

Yes this  is all legit. Perhaps the tactics used ar not responsible, but they are trying to get monies owed. The creditor that has not been paid has written off trying to collect the debt since the owner of the debt has not paid and not worked out a plan . Client services is hired to track down the person who has the debt and make some arrangement. This third party debt collector will frequently offer a serious write down on the debt, if its paid off in a relatively short time. For instance I had an aquaintance who owed over 11K on a credit card and the settlement was for $ 3988...paid off in 6 installments..OR, you can pay a small amount, like 50 bucks, and they will freeze the interest for a month, but you need to call back to work something out.

Bottom line is, whenever possible , work with your creditor to come up with somehting that can work...otherwise you wil be contantly called by "Client Services.

My attorney filed suit in 131st dist, court - these pigs didn't bother to show up - won $1000.00 judgment and the Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has filed an injunction to keep them from making any calls to Texas. Donated the $1000 to the North Texas Food bank!
