received call but no answer from the other line

We never answer unknown numbers and this one didn’t leave a message. Yet another scammer. Yawn.

No voice after picking up

They told me my wife racked up the cc and that I need to sign an affidavit stating I will divorce her. I said sure if you [***].

I called the number back and it was Scotia Bank.  They were trying to get a hold of me because I missed a visa payment.  I was embarrassed and they were quite nice, all taken care of now.

Well you got scammed.

I think you got scammed. I get calls from that number all the time and I'm not with Scotia bank and I don't have a visa. Hope you didn't give them any of your personal info.

Spoke very inappropriately to a minor. Asking inappropriate questions. A pedophile...predator scum bag. Isn't there a law that can stop this grooming attempt & or access abuse?

Called me saying they'd pay me 30 dollars if I answered some questions about local media. I asked how they'd pay me and they said they'd send me a check. Too risky.. they'd need my name, address and probably other info that they could use for identity theft. Just hung up.

Spoke in French...  wanted to speak with my parents...  told him they were dead and to stop calling this number.  Let's see how long before I get a call back.  Interestingly enough the call is suppose to come from the U.S.

Access research you can go to their website access - research.com and have your name removed from their list.

We need to get the telephone companies to block users who make scam calls by blocking phone numbers. That way only legit calls come through, but phone companies are notoriously lazy and eventually people will give up on landlines and phone companies will go out of business. Enough already!!!

Thanks for your concern but I did not get scammed.  I do have their visa and they waited patiently while I checked my account and realized I was in fact overdue to make a payment.

another east indian calling trying to get me to pay $25.00 for something ....couldn't understand much of what he was saying...called 10 x    ....today got someone on the line....another scammer....who regulates these people...!!!

They are a survey company, and others, *may* immmitate their phone numbers.

So how do you know it really is them, well the head guy , is at extension 9603. but he does not wnt to hear from you. ! go figure. His main office number directs you to fill out a web form, so that your number can be pulled from their list(s), but they ignore those.

So. the problem is that they are a "Survey Company",

I have in the past asked to have my number removed from their list, yet it has not been complied with. So we are here again, and I let you have a heads up.
