Scammer who ignored the do not call list, don't answer

Who is calling me from this phone number? and WHY?

4:50 p.m. 24 July 2018.  A chap stating he represented a research company and if I would give him my email address he would send along a questionnaire for me to answer and his company would pay me $15.00 for doing.  I guess these crooks think we all fell off a turnip truck and damaged our gray matter [brain]!!!  If a research or any company wants to talk to me, they had better have the courtesy to show their name on caller i.d.

Again - scammer called on a Saturday evening - no message left.
I think Randy got scammed as all Scotia numbers are 1-800 not 1-877!

Did not pick up phone when called.  I did research the number here and called back to see what scam it was. Got the same message a research company. They said they would call back and if I did not want a call back to go to the "do not call back" and put in my phone number. Yea right I'll do that right away!

Second or third time this number has appeared on Call Display.  Does not leave a message.  We do not pick up calls from "800", etc numbers.  We've concluded it's scam or robo-call.

It's them again!  Appeared on Call Display, Saturday around 4:30.  We do not pick up calls from "800" numbers.  No message.  They're persistent little devils.  I wonder if they themselves review these blogs.

I will block yet another number, this person called me twice yesterday, left no message,,

This number called me 3x a week. I am going to block it.

It's just another SCAMMER.......and it is NOT SCOTIABANK!!!!!  Why can't these lowlifes go out a get actual, paying jobs?!!!!!!

Goddamn scam call  wasting my time !!!!!!! As soon as I hear that damn robot voice, I hang up! Like what other said, never ever answer phone with 877 !!

This number calls me everyday and doesn't leave messages. When I pick up the phone I don't get any response. I'm blocking this number.

Spoke with a British accent; said it was Scotia Bank and I missed a CC payment. Asked for personal info so I invented a name, fake address, etc... losers

Anytime anyone calls me claiming to be from a Bank, Credit Card Company, Credit Union, Revenue Canada.  I say "thanks, I'll call you back".  Then I call the actuall phone # for those insitituions and find out that NO, No one is trying to get a hold of me.... SCAM.
