Report a phone call from 877-740-3335 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- TJAs mentioned above, I was able to call the number, get a recording, and enter my phone number to prevent further calls. The recording does identify the company as "Wells Fargo," and says my number will be removed from their list within five days and my information will be completely removed from their marketing database within 30 days. We'll see if it works.
- late sleeperI am not, and never have been, a client of Wells Fargo. Sure, the voice on the other end says it's tied to Wells Fargo but it's a still a salesperson. If I needed insurance, I'm smart enough to go looking for it without any help from my bank.I doubt the "employees" authenticity but believe the calls are robocalls generated from any number of call lists that have been sold to any number of telemarketing firms. Every company has an "opt out" option....you just have to ask for and/or look for it and follow the instructions.
- Caller: ???
- JohnIf you have caller ID, don't answer. Wait and call back, it will then give you instructions to be removed from the contact list. Wells Fargo says it will take 5 days to process and up to 30 days to be totally removed from the system.
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- hThe calls are annoying at BEST!! They come in all hours of the day and are not respectful enough to leave a message. If we are not home and they cannot leave a message of any sort then why are they bothering to call us!! If it is importnat enough to "harass" us it should also be as important to leave a message!! Requesting them to stop calling means nothing to them!! If I want to purchase insurance or anything else for that matter I will get it myself!!

Making calls from 1-877-740-3334 / 1-877-740-3335 / 1-877-740-3336 that WELLS FARGO BANK gave customers & non customers to.- Caller: Out of Area
- anamariaThese people call every day asking for my fiance who is deployed in Iraq. I have told them repeatedly that he is deployed and that he will be back in a year or so, they just don't care because an hour later they are calling back. What kind of [***] are them? What do I need to do for them to stop calling? They have called at 7 am on a Saturday morning and also at 9 pm one day. Something needs to be done, I feel harassed by these people, is so not fair.

- employee of wfIf you are a WF customer, you would have received our privacy policy which clearly states that your information is not shared or sold to third party companies. If the company is an actual affliate of WF as in owned by Wells Fargo and Company, then yes you could receive a phone call. I am not familiar with this company and would suggest not giving out any information and to let your local branch know about these calls so that they can escalate it to the proper people. I myself received two calls today from this number and they obviously didn't understand the voicemail in saying please leave a message because they would speak in to asking for me. Also, with the bank I do not have my home phone listed as a contact number so I'm not sure how this company got it. I am an employee and as prior posts have mentioned, am not aware of this company or these calls being made.
- JillWells Fargo gave you a bum steer. I have nothing which needs insuring for fire...surely no money to burn either after bailing out Wells Fargo. They sold you misinformation much as they sold lousy mortgages to others and made lousy mortgages. This is an attempt to spur business at the expense of the customer again and again and again. No wonder people have no faith in banks; why would they?
To the Employee who stated the business "Union Fire Insurance" has call center expenses to pay for...forget me. I have never liked telemarketers and do my level best to make sure I don't do business with anyone who uses them. That said, they could save the call center expense as far as I'm concerned. - PizzedoffThis is Wells Fargo, calling about some "special promotion" on which they will not elaborate. If you dial the 877-7340-3555 number, a recording will tell you how to remove your telephone number from their marketing list.
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- DSSCalls almost every day and is a real big bother. Once I even asked them to get me off their list, but no good. I too am a Wells Fargo customer and now am getting really pissed at their business practices! We never answer then anymore, but today we could hear them leaving a voice mail with someone singing am obscene song!
- launchpadThis is Wells Fargo soliciting for their insurance. I asked about it when I was at the bank today and they changed my statas on my account to No solicity phone calls or mail either. I sure hope it works!
- RoxSame issue for me as all of the above.
If you are a Wells Fargo accountholder, simply call the CS number (800-869-3557), get a rep and ask them to opt you out of WF's affiliate marketing programs (which is why you're getting these calls).
You also might be able to do this online if you have the WF online service. Not opting out opens you up to these calls ad infinitum.
I'd not be surprised if other major banks are doing the same thing, so if you're with someone else, and also getting these calls, talk to your bank's CS dept. about it. - WTFIf you bank online with Wells Fargo, there is a way to stop the calls. Go to the Wells Fargo website and click on "Account Services". Look for the section that says "My Profile" and click on "Change Privacy Preferences". On there, it asks you if you want to share your info with other Wells Fargo companies. Click no. Also, it asks if you want to receive offers from Wells Fargo companies through mail, e-mail, and phone calls. Click no and then click "submit".
- anonymousThis number has been calling my office 2-3 times a day for the past few weeks. Even more frustrating is that it hangs up on me when I answer! I pick up, there's no one there, and after about 3-5 seconds, it disconnects. I finally called back and chose to opt out. So aggravating.
- botheredThis one does not stop calling. Totally inappropriate. If it really is Wells Fargo (which I never trust a bank calling me, I always call back) I want it on caller ID!
This is harassment and companies like Influent ought to be illegal and their employees and employers fined. - Jeanjust like previously mentioned, called the number back and recording option offered is to be removed from their list.
- Caller: wells fargo
- private personYep - I called 877 740 3335 back and the recording clearly states that Wells Fargo provided my phone number. The recording allows one to opt out of future marketing calls. I took them up on this offer.
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- Mr EdReceived a call from this number asking to speak to my mother-in-law. Advised the caller that she could not be reached at my number. The caller then said "I'll try later" then studdered and said good-by and hung up. I would like to know how my number became associated with my mother-in-laws name?
- Caller: did not identify themselves
