Report a phone call from 877-740-3335 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- C. EdgarEvery day - calls from 800 numbers, even though I'm on no-call lists. I block them with call rejection service (which I pay extra for from my phone company). But they just use another 800 number to call from. Makes me wonder why they think they're going to be successful in any sales attempt if I obviously don't want to talk to them.
- no virus no waywhoever posted asking if anyone got a virus on their PC after a call from Wells Fargo that's pretty much impossible - I guess if you were using Skype it might be possible but highly unlikely and no - nobody else got a virus unless it was sheer coincidence - you got it some other way
- just saying,if you would listen to the do not call disclosure given by the CMR that calls you you would know that it takes some time to be removed from a list.

- siriI get called a few times a day, all hours of the day. No one is ever at the other end. I've stopped answering, and hope the caller bot gets tored of making the calls.
- Caller: unidentified
- KCThis is Essential Health Insurance. Call Customer Service at 800.545.9916. Tell them to CEASE AND DESIST.

- Kevin Pcalls several times a day, never answered, never leaves msg.
- TrishaThey call at the same time in the early afternoon. They ask for my husband by name, but will never leave a message or say who it is when I ask. I looked up the number on here and it says its Wells Fargo. I call back the phone number and it says it is Wells Fargo wanting to share a promotion. To opt out press ......Done!
- mbkjust read all the above comments before posting this. I have never ever ever done any business at all with Wells Fargo and have been banking only with a local credit union for some time now, and am fairly sure they wouldn't get into something like this. hmm... no clue why WF would have my home # on a list. this number has called 1-3 times a day for the past several days. as the other commenters stated, I called the # back and followed the prompts to remove myself and very much hope that it works. telemarketing and collection agencies are the worst! I can't imagine how either make any money by irritating the hell out of people at their homes.
- Caller: it just says "Tollfree Number"
- SharonI called the number back to make it stop. There are voice instructions on how to get taken off of their call list. At the end of the process they tell you the request will be processed in 5 business days but to allow 30 days to be completely removed from their marketing call list.
I guess, we'll see in 30 days. - DanIs there any way to put a stop to these annoying calls. They call every single day sometimes more than once. I picked up a couple times to tell them to stop and noone was on the line. Whats up with these neanderthals. We should all boycott Wells Fargo and move up to a legitimate bank. If there are any.
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- EnoughI have received calls multiple times a day for ages. Finally read this site. I just called backed and they did say Wells Fargo had a promotion for me, but I could opt out. I did.
I also went on my on-line banking at Wells Fargo and looked at my privacy settings - sure enough, it was marked "yes" if I wanted Wells Fargo to contact me with offers that I might be interested in. I changed that to a "no" as well.- Caller: Wells Fargo
- greatlegsnever leaves a message
- DisappointedIs there a way you could block my number from the lists you give to telemarketing people. I would certainly appreciate it if you would do that. Thanks in advance. (I never answer unidentified numbers that call me so they are wasting their time calling my number.) I truly think your customers should have an opportunity to "Opt OUt" of call lists.
- annoyed customer of Wells Fargo (for nowI have been getting repeated calls from 1-877-740-3335 to my new phone number (cable line) of 1 month which I have never provided to anyone outside of my own family (I have another line I use for business calls). They finally reached me, asked for me By Name, and told me about my account with Wells Fargo. They said they were sending me a free gas card and wanted to talk to me about insurance. When I asked how they got this number and what they could tell me about my Wells Fargo account, the woman hung up on me.
I have had a no call/no share/no solicitation restriction on my accounts at Wells Fargo since the late 1990's because of their insurance cross-sales attempts at that time, and I am assured by Wells Fargo customer service that it is still in effect. So it is definitely a violation of both Wells Fargo's corporate policy and government policy that I received a sales phone call from a company associated with them, at a phone number that I had not listed - Amanda K.I have been getting these calls the last 2 days or so. They are calling my mobile number and asking for my husband by name. We do now have an account assoc. with Wells Fargo do to them buying out Wachovia but I am not aware of having ever given them my mobile number. I did call the number back and go through the prompts to be removed from their list...however it did say it could take as many as 30 days to be completely removed. So...see you in 30 days....
- Caller: none given
- MarleneThey call us frequently. We have never had an account with Wells Fargo or any place else in this city. There is rarely anyone on the line. Even though we have caller ID, its annoying having to constantly stop what we're doing to go check the number on caller ID. You can bet, if they're ashamed to state who the call is from in caler ID, they aren't a legitimate bussiness.
- JoeySaintBmultiple calls in one day are a good way to run off customers
the idea of it being "legitamit" (sic) is irrelevant
Wells Fargo is a bank
Banks are corrupt (read your newspaper)
The Insurance selling effort is a scam because there is no real value behind it.
There is no money. It has been invested in a luxury condominium in Manhattan or new yachts.
The employee above is not just an average person doing their job.
They are aiding and abetting a corrupt institution. Look for another job. - Burrow Owl| 1 replyHas called my # at approx. 12:05 PM for 18 days in a row.
I don't know who it is- nor do I care.
As my land line is VoIP via one of my Linux boxes, I simply wrote a short BASH script which dumps any call originating from a toll-free number on the second ring- which means that I rarely am even aware of the incoming call until I check my logs.
OTOH, If I do happen to be physically present when the call comes in... well then,... scammers beware:
I can assure you that I'll be more than happy to engage you in a conversation that will make the sleaziest 900# call to a pedophiliac bestiality hot line sound like a trip to the Magical Disney World of Rainbow Farting Invisible Pink Unicorns.
In short:
My personal policy is to never, ever do business with anyone who tries to contact me via unsolicited phone calls or e-mail.
If I want something, I'll find it.
......Sadly, I'm sure that I'll be forced to keep my call filters in place for the foreseeable future, as Americans as a whole are amongst the dumbest, most gullible fuctards on the entire planet.
Don't believe me? No problem.
Just turn towards Capitol Hill, and raise your right arm....... - Sega_GTI have been having issues with Wells Fargo marketing and even called the number and opted out just to have the problem come back after a few months.
