CCCS told me that Wells Fargo gave them our number. We were already on a Do-Not-Call list for Wells Fargo.

It really irritates me that they have not respected our wishes

So, I also just received a call from a telemarketing company trying to sell me National Union's "Call Help Protector PLUS" product.

I immediately called the Wells Fargo customer service number. I was instructed to submit a formal complaint on their Online Banking website. I have since submitted a complain (and referenced the URL to this page).

If they continue to sell my contact information to outside parties without my permission, they will lose my business.

After several calls and email with Wachovia, I've learned that you can opt out from receiving marketing calls from Wells Fargo/Wachovia affiliates. The page would have been impossible to find on my own had I not sent several emails through the Online Banking site.

I also recommend you send a message from the Online Banking site and demand that they change the page so that the default option is to NOT be contacted by these affiliates. There is (allegedly) a monthly meeting with "executives" to review such complaints. If this meeting does indeed happen, I feel this is customers' best option to try and change their privacy policies and practices.

I have an open question to them now asking them to clarify if National Union Fire Insurance Co is indeed affiliated with Wells Fargo.

I have been receiving annoying telephone solicitation calls from National Union Fire Insurance Company representing Wachovia Bank for several days and I want it stopped. The calls are at my residence at 904-744-5166.  I do not have a Wachovia account and I am not interested in any promotion from Wachovia or Wells Fargo.
Please discontinue these calls or I will take action to see that they are stopped.
These calls are from telephone numbers 877 342-6515 and 786 358-5592.

Your company was not asked by the recipient for YOUR business, to do banking with Wells Fargo and then a different company call because they got the number from my bank is WRONG.  You are a bottom feeder and so is Wells Fargo/Wachovia, I am switching banks. Your business was not solicitated by ME. This alone would make be say "NO" to your offer.
