got a letter from these people today (MCOA) with this same phone number- said I owe 141.75 for a traffic ticket i have never seen in my life- said it was a debt collector trying to collect on this ticket that is past due.  i looked up the courts through the state of maryland for traffic tickets- my name appears nowhere.  sophisticated scam.

I keep getting same calls also.

I received a voicemail from  1 866 251 5130  saying I need to call mcoa @ 877 751 7115  for an important business matter.

MCOA does some collections for municipalities, especially for traffic violations.   Keep that in mind when deciding to return their call.

Once and a blue moon they call me over a speeding camera in Iowa.   IA supreme court has ruled the cities can't issue them and previous issuance have no consequences.  It's not not a debt.  It's techniclaly a legal debt the city has turned over to them in this case.  But it's a debt form a a ticket for something that the courts have ruled ain't a legit ticket.

Got a letter staring i owe money!!!!

Got a letter from city of girard ohio stating i owe $236 for speed enforcement. I looked at the date, i work on that day no where near girard!!! This is [***] hoax!!! The letter is from municipal collections of america, inc.

just received a call from this company, it is fraudulent as per other messages from this site... I did not give them any information.. so just be on the lookout..

These people really need to leave me the [***] alone!! They have called me at least 12 times about some tickets from 10 years ago at folly Beach, SC, I asked why they are just now calling about it, and they responded that they have been trying to get ahold of me on some number I have never had or been associated with, it was a 665 area code number too, that's when I knew it was a scam and someone needs to [***] those people up for what they are doing!!

People from different numbers keep calling me and saying to call them back about an important matter. Everytime i look up the numbers, everything states they are scams.

I keep receiving calls from this number and this is a definite scam! These people need to be reported.

Just had the same thing happen to me and I’ve neber been in the area the said I have a ticket nor have any outstanding tickets with that’s areas court system. How do we them to stop calling? I’ve blocked every number they’ve called from but they just call from another

I received two missed calls from this number while at work. The second time there was a voicemail left. Fred Thomas from MCOA is who left the voicemail.

Got a call from "Camille Harris" stating to call 877-751-7115 regarding a very important matter that required my immediate attention. Since she pronounced my name wrong I never called back.

This number 877-751-7115 has been calling me. A woman named Raven left me a message saying that I need to get in touch with them regarding a very important matter. I was unfamiliar with the number, so I looked it up. It said it was a scam and to report them.

She said her name is Kim Brown from Mcoa that I need to call her back about an urgent matter.

Municipal Collections of America, a debt collector. Collects parking tickets, fines, etc. and not consumer debt.
