I'm from north Africa I don't know from wich country this call comes

I received this call today(26.10.08) at 19:20 (Swizerland. where do they find all this numbers? from the internet?

Ringed at 4.14 am (Swiss Time). 1 ring.
+88 is Country Code for Bangladesh. Guess it is a sort of scam to steal your phone back. WHERE they get my number?

I've been called last night at 1:39 cmt and wanted to take the phone but the ring stopped immediately before I could get the line - I was lucky I guess.
If I can do anything to avaoid these spam calls - I'll do it!

I just got a call this morning. Seems these guys are thorough. A few months ago, most of the posts came from  Sweden, and now Switzerland is the main target. Who's next ? According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries#S , Syria and Taiwan ^^.

I am from Switzerland. Got a call last night at 04.50. For sure I will not call back !! In my opinion this is exactly the kind of number that will charge you a lot of money if you called back!

I am swiss and I was wondering who calls me form Bangladesch at 23:34 local time... so I wanted to look up the number in the internet and found this page ... He / she called very shortly, so that I couldnt pick up the cell...

I'm from Tunisia and I got a call from the same number at about 5:00 am, and then another call at 4:00 pm. Haven't answered both.
WTF? Somebody should put an end to this.

Just wanted to add that I have a personal website which has my phone number displayed on my contact page. Looks like these people harvest phone numbers from the internet then call them.
Don't put you phone numbers online folks, unless you really have to.

I have a Swiss number +41, but actually i live in Sweden for study. I got this call @ 3.00 the 30.10.08. I didn't answer the phone, but I'm wondering who is it? And what the hell does it want from me!

they called for 2 seconds then they just hanged up..

Use Tele2 in Switzerland. Started to call back but stopped because country
code didn't mean anything. Don't think call went through...(!)
Judging from the amount of comments of those who did and didn't call back
...and just imagining all those people who haven't realised the scam...
the people doing this are making a fortune...
