- Anonymousi too received a call from these people... I have reported their activity to the FBI and am awaiting a call from the local office... this probably will fall into a pyramid marketing scheme catagory and as I understand it, if the activity is across state lines, it is in the fed's jurisdiction..

- Lisa WI just checked GMI Enterprises out with the BBB in Oregon and there's no complaints. The BBB insinuated that if there's been no complaint in all the time they've been in business, they're probably clean. My talk with the BBB made me feel much better. I also went to GMI other business www.ttoolbox.com and I'm impressed with them even more. All good stuff!!!
- wally staffcome on people, who have to be smart enough to use your smarts to make money. one has to expect an investment to get more. this is not a free service. i have not tried this thing yet, but am willing to give it try.$65 is cheap.

- Dave PatersonTurns out GMI Enterprises is legit. Here's what I've dug up, check out the post from Anne Greiner at http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=24539 Its at the bottom of the forum, post number 32. And there's another post earlier of someone else who didn't buy GMI but does the same job. It's an earlier post from post name "CDA25" in January. Dates andn post numbers arein the upper right corner of each post.
- JCPlease, don't be stupid. This is a scam, people. I try to be sympathetic to those of you who are trying to better your family (I am too) but making stupid rash decisions probably isn't the best answer. Don't give these people your CC numbers??!!! Let me remind you all for the 5,000 time- A LEGITIMATE JOB WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO PAY TO WORK! Sure, some BUSINESSES require an investment to get started, but even then if you've never heard of it, don't waste your time. There are plenty of ways for you to make money online or working from home. Believe me, I do it.

- ms Ali GrottsSomething to think about! If GMI were not legit, just how long do you think they could get away with openly connecting themselves with a government agency? The FBI would be all over them like a tornado in a hurricane.

- Conserned IndividualI received a call from this number on yesterday and was offered a job as well. I called the 971-285-3130 number that they gave me back because I wanted to do some more research as well. I didn't do as much homework as I should have because I gave them my information to pay the 69.00 for the package and the 10.00 for shipping and handling. After trying to find the company on the internet I found this page and immediately called and canceled the card that I used to pay the fees. I was also given a customer support number but was told not to call that number until I received the package. They also wouldn't give me the customer support number until I purchased the package the number is 503-946-5949. I also spoke to operator 098 Mike, 126 Jessica and 127 Allison. They also offered a money back guarantee if at anytome you are not satisfied you can get your 69.00 back. I hope someone catches these people because I am tired of people ripping others off. They told me the name of the company was GMI Enterprises LLC Tualitin (GMI stands for Government Mortgage Insurance. Thanks so much for all the information you provided because I would have lost some money to another fraudualant person.

for about 12,000.00. Thankful I used CC. - MandyI recieved a call from this number this afternoon, but it was not from any of the above listings. It was from a company called GMI Enterprises. I spoke to a very nice girl named Tonisha, operator #132. The call was about processing Government Mortgage Insurance loans for people who have overpaid their FHA Loans, the idea here is to call the people and inform them that they will be recieving a check from the Department of Treasurey in whatever the amount is that they have overpaid. She also said that the call was recorded for customer assurance, and that there was also a one time fee of $69.00 plus $10.00 S+H, Total:$79.00, for this fee I will be sent an orientation package that will include a list of names of the people who are entitled to this refund, customer support from GMI and some other information as well. She said that I would make between $400.00-$800.00 working from home by doing this. She also quoted to me GMI's guarantee that if for any reason I wish to no longer do this job, that all I need to do is send them a copy of the list of names that they sent to me and the orientation package, and my credit card will be refunded the initial fee of $69.00. She said that I would be recieving my package within 7-10 business days. I have never tried any of these work from home things, so I thought "why not try it?" I will let you all know how it turns out. I promise!

- Mike Tuckersame scam different phone no 1-213363-5114
- wallythe job is real, almost impossible to do. first you must buy list from the govt.for 89$. you get 12000 pages in fla alone. Then to fill out just the first letter is a chore. Most of the refunds are in the $200 to $300 range. Which means 99% of the fee to you is about $60. MOst of the letters come back as receipient not found. Now, if you should find just one customer and they get a refund, they may or not pay you a fee. collection of the fee is futile. Yes, this is a scam of big perportions. No refunds of your $69 will you ever see.
- BrittaThese people are horrible. They sell "get rich quick schemes" and rake in the cash. They are liars, cheats and crooks. Curt Dawn posts pictures of himself with heaps of envelopes containing checks on his desk. It is obscene.
- Crazy MadCheck this out. Curt Dawn runs a "get rich quick" site called
http://doubleyourincomein53days.com/
He claims he sells stuff for $79 that costs him 2 bucks and profits $20,000 a month.
The only one getting rich is him and his wife and they are making it off people like us! I'm glad I researched this before I plunked down my money.
