I work for this company. If you ask to be put on a Do Not Call list, we put you on.
(At least I do. I am NOT trying to scam people, I am trying to HELP.)

Again, this is Banana, the one who works for them.......

Also,  DON'T just hang up. If you do, we have to mark it as "No Answer" and try again later. (Because there is a possibility you wanted info on colleges and universities, and your phone lost service.) Take 30 seconds out of your day, and let us know you aren't interested. The requests we get are real requests, we aren't stealing people's information or calling random people. About 60% of the people I speak with are happy to hear from me, because they requested the info on purpose. (I also take incoming calls, so I know for a fact that if you call back you will speak with someone) Our business hours are 9:30am CST to 8pm CST.

Also, every employee is a citizen of the continental US. There shouldn't be anybody with a very thick accent....None of my co-workers have one! (I was born and raised in the Chicago area)

Nobody needs to give you 30 seconds. Why, it only takes about 3 seconds to blow a loud whistle in your useless ear, and it's a much better use of time.

Did you know it means STOP CALLING FOREVER? Well, if you don't get it the first time, we'll repeat.

I have recieved a call every day for the last two weeks from this number myself and also have a college-bound son, so that helps me understand why they might be calling me.

If they are calling your cell phone, you should be able to put a block on this number for free like I did via my online account.  Or just call your phone service and have a service rep do it for you.

    Sick of the BS!!!
Finally decided to answer the phone when the caller ID showed this number AGAIN. These people are so full of BS! Claiming my husband requested info on a college degree from search4degree.com. Once again, I call BS! If they do call again, they will get a very rude awakening ... So to Banana or whatever you want to call yourself, go ahead ... call me again, but be sure to have some good earplugs in!!!

We get that a lot  also holding the phone to the tv,radio, pressing buttons ect. The funny thing is that we conrol the volume on our end so it's not loud at all and we like the music it's a nice break.

I get these calls quite a bit from a variety of places.  Didn't start getting them until I applied for a personal loan.  I simply tell them that I'm already enrolled somewhere else and to take me off the list.  Yeah, it's a hassle, but I don't hear back from the same number.

The name of the company is Search for degrees, it is a marketing system for online or college degrees. Most of you probably tried to vote for something or some type of info like that for them to get your number. It is not a collection agency- so no worries. Watch what you are submitting online, it is not the fault of the company doing its job based on information from the internet.

I just received a call from them asking for someone else. I've had this number for 7 years. The name they asked for was for the person who had the number before me (I used to get calls for the person from bill collectors after I got the number). From what I gather, the person they wanted abandoned the number about 8 years ago. Obviously that person wouldn't be asking for info from this company. It is a cellphone that is on the national do not call list. These people seriously need to update their phone list.
