I'm not surprised that there are people out to scam other not-so-smart people. Many Americans are simply not smart enough to see through these scams. The real problem is that we tolerate such crap. No agency seems to be credible enough to stop these open attempts to take advantage of stupid people. The Capone crowd openly uses our mail and telephone system which is supported by taxpayers for their convenience. The scammers are free to mess with the systems and are free to screw others less able to think. Is this a great country? NO!

Freedom without responsibility will take us all down. Will the BBB, phone company and USPC please wake up, get a set of balls and stop this crap. This site shows HUNDREDS of attempts to scam others all over the country. This is simply WRONG. Responsible agencies should stop it. Do we have any responsible agencies? Perhaps that is the problem.

When I got my card yesterday (Detroit Metro), it seemed like some kind of scam. Why would I schedule a pickup in TX. Phone number on the card is 888 237 2410....did not call. Thanks to everyone's post here!

Also just got a yellow card in the mail with same phone and company. Strange that there is no address or website given. Also, our address was handwritten in the worst handwriting I've ever seen.

I recevied the green card in the mail today from Package Services Po Box 820 Whitehouse Texas 75791.  They want me to call 1-888-327-24`2 to schedule pickup.  The package Number: 1129-2884-7955. I did not call when I read about this information.  Thanks everyone

Received mine on 6 Oct 11.  Same BS and scam.

Said I had a laptop and needed my address fdor shipping. (The Green card had my address)

I recevied the green card in the mail today from Package Services P.O. Box 820 Whitehouse, Texas 75791.  Call Toll-Free (888) 327-2412 to schedule pickup.  The package Number: 1129-6296-2332. Track: 03494-07.

Got a green card in the mail with "Please call to schedule pickup: (888) 684-2266" from Package Services, PO Box 820, Whitehouse, TX 75791.  I'm in illinois. Thank you all for the heads-up.

Are these idiots serious, have they never heard of Google? Pity it does not quite make the mail fraud laws kick in, it should.

How do you know for sure it is a scam, I have not seen anyone on here say it is a scam for sure, I havent seen anyone say that they called they attended the presentation and that they got scammed did you? Ive read people saying it is a scam but im waiting to see the proof? Who has actually got scammed by this company? Im not sure how a company sending you a post card is a scam so how can you file with the BBB unless you were truly scammed by someone and i havent read anywhere that someone was actually scammed. If i missed it please point me in the right direction

Got the green card today. You know it's garbage from the get go, but I was curious as to what this scam is. Do you know?.

Got mine today on a yellow postcard from WWT, Inc. in Frederick, MD.  Phone number is 240-415-8038.  Says to call the scheduling dept to schedule a delivery.  I called and they asked for name, phone number, and address so they can call me back.  Yeah right.  

This should be illegal. Its harassment.

Apparently they have moved on to South Carolina now. My husband received his "green postcard" today offering an Android Apple Tablet that was scheduled for pick up. We knew right away it was a scam, but for fun, we called them to see how they would try.

In almost the tiniest letters possible on the notecard, it says:
*Requires attendance of a120 minute sales presentation. Certain terms and conditions apply to qualify for this special offer.*

When I called they gave me some sales pitch about we could choose between a tablet ot laptop, and that they needed to ask a few introductory questions to process our prize. First question was, is your combined household income 50k or more per year? I said NO...they said thank you for your call and we will send you more info.

Halle,  Its IS deceptive marketing.  Whether it is a scam or not depends on whether you take them up on there non-consumer friendly offer.

Just mark the darn thing, "RETURN TO SENDER"  and give it back to the post person. USPS could use the added revenues.

Came to Chicago area today.  Green card very much like the one posted on the Michigan BBB website scam warning page.  There were no fine print or large print disclaimers.

Has anyone gone to the presentation?  Do you know what the taxes come to and to whom they are paid? Do you send them to the company or is the value of the package just added to your income?  Thanks.
