Sometimes I think people just like being angry because they don't read or listen to everything they are being told.  Yes, you do receive a postcard that states something about scheduling a pickup, and YES, when you call, you are invited to attend a business meeting and scheduled to pick up a gift and vacation voucher.  I received both of these, have my gift in hand, and took a very nice vacation, all on the expense of the company.  My only monetary output was the taxes on the vacation and gift itself, and the agent told me in advance that I would have these expenses.

If receiving a postcard pisses you off, then throw it in the trash.  It's as simple as that, or you can follow through with the offer, then gripe if you don't receive what you are told that you will.

The card may look like it came from UPSP, but if you look at it, it doesn't.  Once again, people jumping to conclusions.  You are only seeing what you want to see.

I got a green card today (8/8/11). Thought it smelled fishy. Wondered why a company in Texas had a package for me when I didn't order anything. Phone number is 888-327-2408. Same P.O. box. Shortened the name to "Package Services". Thanks everyone for saving me a phone call.

Count me in, I got the bogus post card as well.  The first thing I did was to get on line and get  the scoop onn this mailing.  Glad I did; post card to file 13.

My green card from P.O. Box 820 now has the "toll free"  855-796-6572 now, but it's definitely the same scam.  I received mine last week in eastern MI.

I too received the green card by mail.  i was suspicious right away since i was not expecting a package.  after a while it occurred to me that if someone had tried to leave a package but couldn't raise anyone at my address to take it - why in the world wouldn't they have left the green card stuck in my door?  why would they need to MAIL it to me if they had already had an employee at my house? well - because nobody ever did come to the house.   they mail you the green card and get you to call them so they can talk you up with their sales pitch, which would have been illegal if they called you directly and your phone were on the No Call list.  just another way to bend your ear, waste your time and hopefully get you to buy whatever they're selling.

I suspect you work for the company who sent these cards. If they can't be up front and honest about who they are and what they want, that to me is fraud.

I'm in Florida...got the same green card.  No "FREE" vacation for me.  It went to file 13.

Received mine today as well.  In Southfield, MI.  Filed it in the garbage!

Smelled of junk mail, but I just had to check in case some annoymous donor wanted to send me some awesome package with no strings attached!
Hey at least they are paying for postage maybe that will keep the USPS in business and they won't keep raising stamp prices.  Send me 30 of these buggers at least the backside is blank and I can use it for a scratch pad!

Another green card received here too.  In Florida, the land of sunshine and scams. Afraid to open the mailbox, there's a new one every day. And the post office just keeps 'em coming.

Got mine today in Orlando-8-29-2011. Called the number and asked the woman how long she had been a low life scum bag crook and she called me the "F" word and hung up lol. Former Kalamazoo resident.

I got a green post card in MD stating that it was a Delivery Scheduling Notification from WWT, Inc. The number that that was on the card was 240-415-8031.

I got  a green card from Package Services, P.O. Box 820, Whitehouse, TX 75791. They are now using  (888)327-2409 as their phone number. I'm glad that I came upon these posts and see that I'm not the only one that has recieved this card.

I'm not surprised that there are people out to scam other not-so-smart people. Many Americans are simply not smart enough to see through these scams. The real problem is that we tolerate such crap. No agency seems to be credible enough to stop these open attempts to take advantage of stupid people. The Capone crowd openly uses our mail and telephone system which is supported by taxpayers for their convenience. The scammers are free to mess with the systems and are free to screw others less able to think. Is this a great country? NO!

Freedom without responsibility will take us all down. Will the BBB, phone company and USPC please wake up, get a set of balls and stop this crap. This site shows HUNDREDS of attempts to scam others all over the country. This is simply WRONG. Responsible agencies should stop it. Do we have any responsible agencies? Perhaps that is the problem.
