Got the same call about tickets and a rental car.

I just got the same call and they left me a msg.  I reside in TX and am a verizon customer.  I did not call back. Here is the vm below:

was pulled and you and your spouse have been selected to receive two complimentary round-trip airfare tickets departing Dallas/Fort Worth to any major city in the continental United States.  Your choice.  Round-trip for two wherever you want to go in America.  Included in your package is a complimentary 7-day rental car.  Now the toll-free number for the directions to redeem your trip with no obligation to purchase anything is 888-523-9087.  Now we can only hold your promotional package for 24 hours so call us as soon as you can.  Congratulations again and enjoy two round-trip tickets and a 7-day rental car on us.

Ugh, I just got the same call. I did call back and listened to the recording. I continued to press 1 .. do you think they recieved any of my info?

I never followed through with the 701.

Oh well.

Got that message today. Irritating. I also got a call from the aforementioned 443 number.  I have a Dallas number but don't live in Texas. Haven't for years.  That was my tip off that it was a scam.  Why would I register for a contest that only flies out of a Dallas airport...

She is really exited and has no idea why.

The automated voicemail will just take you in circles.

Same thing - 2 roundtrip airline tickets from DFC (I live in TX) to any major airport in US as well as $300 in gas.  Just attend our grand opening with no obligation to buy.  

All the stuff they told Chris in June (see entry above).  I dedicated to research them before they called back to confirm my "reservation" and am glad I did.  I can't believe I fell for this; I'm usually pretty good at picking up on this stuff!  Ugh.

I did leave my name, I hope that doesn't come back to bite me.

Also got a call from these Bozos.  Apparantly we all signed up for a contest and every single one of us won.

Kinda reminds me of the Seinfeld stand-up bit where he says that he recently got some good news.  He says that he esn't sure he really wants to share this news yet because it isn't final, but that he had received a letter in the mail and that it appears that he "may already have won" some valuable prizes.

Got the same call.  Has anyone tried showing up at the address it gives on the right day.  I could sit throught an hour of BS trying to get me to buy timeshare or buy vacations if it got me 2 free plane tickets.  Im sure they will tell you to get the tickets you have to purchase their packages.

Anyway, just curious to see if anyone actually went to the meeting spot?

got a call from 702-444-4939 to call 1-888-408-1960.

did the whole message about winning a trip for two on a cruise line. Never said any details like they knew who I was or required to confirm my identity against their records. At the end they gave me an address for a travelers reception at in 656 Warenton Rd, Fredricksburg, VA 22406 at 1745 or 1945. Sounded really cool only they didn't send me an e-mail or confirm anyother way. Anyone actually go through with this just to see?
