I got a call they asked for someone that i never heard of, i then said im sorry you must have got the wrong number, and they said remember the call is being recorded and hung up/

I have been getting calls for years from them asking if Bonnie is there. . I have explained that I have had our phone number for 15 years and there are no Bonnie's at this address. I have asked them to please take my name off their call list but they just keep calling again and again.

i am debt free and/crime and ticket free but they call me too. just pick up the phone and hit the #
key repeatly and there is silence. no need to talk to any of these scum bags. it is working for
me so try it!!!!  don't say anything just pick up and hit that # sign!!

I get calls from this number sometimes, but not as often as you guys seem to.  IF I answer, I usually do it in some foreign language.  They start asking for me and I start saying even stranger things.  It at least buys me a week or so in between the next call.

this people have called me on my cell phone for over 7 years (we are debt free).  They have been put on the do not call registry 3 times and never leave a message..  Agree no need to talk to these criminals invading my privacy(they call 2-3 times every two days)They need to be stopped.

Just got a cell phone for my 13 year old son every days he get calls to his cell phone from 888-680-2954, the “DO NOT CALL” register list don’t  work, so I just program my computer to call there number from my unlimited land line every 5 minute for hours let see how they like it, you can use a fax machine to call, set the retry for 10 times.

I even file complain with FCC http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

My employer receives daily calls from this number, several times per day for weeks or months on end. When I answer the calls with the company greeting, the calls are abandoned. They stop temporarily after I file a complaint with the FCC. Some people identify the company as NCO Financial Systems; my Caller ID identifies them as Allied Interstate.

Started getting calls from 888-680-2954 early January 2011.  Caller ID shows as "Not Provided".
They called so often that curiosity got the best of me, so I dialed the number shown.  The man answered the phone with "Allied Interstate, how may I help you?"  I hung up.

Further checking on Google reveals that Allied Interstate is a debt collection agency.  I don't owe money to anyone, so probably they are looking for whomever had my phone number previously.

I am too young to have credit cards or any debts also. This number called me during school, immediately after school, around 5pm, and at 8 at night. I have not answered, but they did leave me a message once saying I had debts. How is that possible? My phone is prepaid, I can't have debts on that. I don't even have a bank account yet! This is crap!

They call for my old roommate all the time.  It is for unpaid student loans apparently.  Really, really tired of them calling me to try to reach her.

I can not remember the name they gave but they have called repeatedly.  Sometimes they talk most times they do not.  I just wish they would stop

Called me every day this week looking for a Leonard or Luquinda Davis. Um...I told you on Monday....Not me, never heard of them, please stop calling. Maybe they think by Friday these two people will magically appear!?

keep getting calls from this number

We just moved and got a new number and we inherited the persons problems that had this number before!!  You tell them to stop calling, not this persons number anymore and they dont believe you, they keep calling!

This is harsh but they deserve it !!  Buy yourself the LOUDEST whistle. When your caller ID shows
an incoming call  (unavailable), be ready with your Whistle.  Blow AS HARD AS YOU CAN into the phone. Thiis will throw off their Computerized Call OR hopefully there is a real person on the other end, believe me this idiot will have hearing problems for a l-o-n-g  time!!!   Will think twice before calling again.

I work nites, therefore my day sleep is very IMPORTANT!  These idiots interrupt my sleep all the time.  I could always turn off my phone, but why should I !!  Sometimes I am on-call so I can't do that.

Perhaps it time for us to call our state representatives so they present this problem in Washington.
There should be a law with very hefty fines!!   Since everyone's monthly phone service is quite costly, perhaps the phone companys should get involved & do good for their customers as well.
Obviously the FTC needs more help in this area.           GOOD LUCK  people.
