I keep getting calls for long gone ex, who is apparently using my number as a contact number.
He has no address (lives in hotel)
Serves him right.

Any idea how to block this from happening (without changing my number)
I have repaired my credit after he did a job on it...Im almost there!
I am not paying every Tom, Dick, and Harry he owes money to..he has been gone years.

Bennuck and Rainey actually are in NH, not Mass.

The BBB lists benuck and rainey as a legitimate company. do your research.  THe reason why you cant return the call, is because its a 13 people run buisness, and most likely the person that called you, is currently calling someone else.. Pay your bills so people dont bother you. Its that simple.

I keep getting a call from number 888 697 5566 saying there from Benuck snd Rainey everytime its a different person they dsy I owe on a debt. I looked number up I know there fake. They call like 3 ,4 times a day very disturbing

Not always true. I worked at a collection agency for 4 yrs & we searched for friends, neighbors, employers, relatives etc. on top of the references on file. Not saying it's right but that's what they do. Trust me they don't just stick to the info people give. Know your facts

Not true. You can call the same # up to 3 times per day and leave 1 msg. Some of these comments make me laugh. People act like they know what they're talking about but have no clue

They are legit and collect for a lot of hospital bills. I got a call on a hospital bill myself that they thought was unpaid.

Yes, it is B&R, a collection agency.  However, they don't only call to collect on something that "... you bought and couldn't afford..."  Some of you folks need to grow up and stop the blame game.  There are a myriad of legitimate reasons that people get into a collection situation.

As for mine, it is for a medical issue and, I believe, is not a valid charge.  When B&R called me, I answered and discussed it with them.  I asked for an itemized receipt that shows the what charges there were and the amounts.  Believe it or not, they told me that I should call the provider to ask for this.  I explained that it is clearly their obligation to provide it, based on collection laws.  They reiterated their position and I reiterated mine.  I told them that if they provided the documentation that I would gladly pay something that I legitimately owed.

I have never gotten the actual bill but they continue to call.

I respectfully disagree. It's a computer dialer and a recorded message. It is not my responsibility to prove I paid a bill except to the company owed a real charge. It is a waste of my time. I will ignore them. I think they are a scam.

I don't agre with you. I just received a two letters exactly the same from Benick & Rainey, stating I owe $52.00 on each with a creditor being Breg, Inc. I've never gotten anything from this company.. This is a total scam. The letters look like they were printed at home.

Even though you cant call them back right then and there doesnt mean u cant call back on ur free time, so instead of watching netflix call them back and make a scheduled time to communicate what needs to be said or u know what theyll probably keep calling

Breg is a medical supply company that supplies hospitals and medical buildings , so you would have received it was an ER or doctors office or hospital, you know all you have. To do is google it. And if u contact ur bank they can tell u which companies are legit when it comes to collections also found that out on google aw the internet its great
