jusr rc'd this call. I too am a gym member who has had dealings w/ this co. The most recent offense was the most bogus invoice I have ever seen-a meembership which renews at a little over $200, and they claim they are owed over $800 for payment of past dues. The membership has been paid in full, on time year after year for a decade-no money is owed to them. next person reading this SHOULD REPORT TO THE FTC/FBI, there may well be a file on this co-really sounds like there should be!

Neither me nor my wife are gym members. We did not get any calls but this is worse than that. The other day, I noticed a $14.99 recurring fee on my bank statement on line for "ABC Financial Sherwood". I called the bank and had them reverse it because we don't recognize this vendor. Looking at the other posts, these guys seem to be the fee collecting agency for Gold's gyms and other gym outfits. The bank has since changed the vendor description to "ABC World" with the tel. # 888 872 9262. These guys are charging my account and I have absolutely NO relationship with them whatsoever, nor did I ever authorize any such payments. Isn't that called stealing? Who can this be reported to because this has got to be illegal? Where did they get my bank information from?

I got a call from this number and they told me abc saying something about a club since it was computer automated i could not understand a world he was saying, I am a memeber of a gym but my councilor there would have called; even txted me if I was passed due on payments and i am up on payments and this months is not even due. I am also NOT a memeber of golds gym either

I started receiving calls on my cell phone from this number, referring me to the 866 number to rectify. The problem is I am not a member of any gym. I am following the advice of reporting to the donotcall.gov site.

Just called my WORK cell. No message. I have a gym membership under my own personal phone number but with a different gym. I just joined, and they have my payment info.

I just got a call from them. No message. i DO belong to a gym, but its Charter Fitness, until very recently called Cardinal Fitness. Makes me nervous. I'm going to check in with the gym and see if I can pay up front in cash. It seems obvious to me that they have sold my information to somebody!

I tried to cancel my memebership at gold's gym in garland texas and they continued charging a cancelled account now this collection agency has been calling.

A bogus charge appeared on my credit card statement over $49.99 and I have no idea how they got my credit card

Joined 24 hour fitness two.weeks ago. Month to month. Now I'm getting calls. Going in to raise hell tomorrow.  Want to know why they gave my info out.

The gym I went to for a 1 1/2 years uses ABC Financial.  I cancelled my membership after fulfilling my one year obligation.  I had my monthly membership dues automatically withdrawn from my account using my credit card.  After reporting to the fitness gym that money was still being taken out of my account even though I had turned in my key,  I asked them to refund me, but that didn't happen, so I cancelled my credit card.  Now ABC is calling trying to get me to update my records.

This company handles the billing of a lot of different gyms. I recently had a membership with Anytime Fitness, but decided to cancel to go to a different gym. The managers at Anytime were cool about it and said I would have contact ABC and pay a $50 cancellation fee. So I called ABC and they flat-out refused to cancel the membership. They said I had to be disabled and have medical documents proving I was disabled. In other words they said I was stuck with the membership. So I went to my bank and had my debt card cancelled. They are scam artist and I feel bad for anyone who gets roped into them.

This is the billing company that handles payments for my gym.  Warning: I logged on to their website to update my billing info and to pay a past due bill ($44.65) and they deducted the 44.65, another 19.50, another 29.50, 44.65 again, and then a week later, another 44.65.  I have never managed to get refunded the extra $44.65.  We are currently trying to cancel our membership (we have an open contract) and it is nearly impossible.  Maximus Fitness and Wellness, in Topeka, KS.

Got a call from this number. I didn't pick up, so I was left a voicemail. The person said he was from ABC Financial and that my credit card was going to expire soon, so I could call back to update it with them in regards to my gym membership. My gym does use this company in order to  manage incoming revenue from its members. I never called them back, instead I went to my gym to update my credit card. With all these phone frauds going on these days, it is best never to give any personal or financial information over the phone, even if it sounds legitimate.
