Got a call again from the same number and realised it is from my daughter who lives in Australia. Actually, it occurs when a phone number is hidden, usually with mobile numbers.

Spoofed number. And why on earth would twelve 8s in a row scare any rational person? The number 8 is not linked to cults or even the Illuminati.
Read the posts above from JackReacher, B-Edwards and even my sister Bridget Tice. Bridget has an Art History degree from a night school and even if she is now 27 (and living at home) she knows what she is talking about.

I am getting the same calls. Do not attend this call. It is from Marketsoft. It is a trading platform. They may sometimes call you from +973 or +44 + 372. Do not pick it up. The guy on the call is named Michael. I have reported to the local police authorities here in United Arab Emirates for harassment case.

+888888888888 I’m from Putrajaya Malaysia received call from this unique and strange number but I didn’t answer it anyway.

I got the same call yesterday  Tuesday 21st Jan 2020 at 18.26 hrs. It called  twice but I didn't answer it. Who could this be.

That is because the number is an obvious spoof. It is supposed fool and trick you. See other posts.

Even, I received a call from +888888888888 day before yesterday (16/03/2020) at 06:42  for 29 sec.I was curious who had called me. I thought for a while  may be it was my brother or sister from abroad. I had called back.But, nobody  answered it. It was strange to receive call from  unknown number.

What must be the motive for this call? It might be anything either positive neither negative lead to anyone.

I also recived this num..... but no one speak and then i cut the call. Then after again one call had come but it was different num.... and it was 60116943422842 i recived and after a hour one another num... 6017626862 i didint recived
