I understand you, because I am also confused by this number. Strange phone number +888888888888 (there were 12 eights).

I got this call 2 times at 7:10 PM. I let it end and didnt hang up.

I am from Slovakia (that is in Central Europe).

Your posts come from 2008, but this phone number is still active in 2018.

This is not an active or even a real number.  Scammers are using spoofing to show you this - or any other number - in your caller ID. Only crooks do this.  Ignore the calls.

I'm from kenya and just got a call from this strange number at around 00:24PM, on receiving twas a [***] voicemail saying "i hope you doing well, love you" though i did not respond

i got a call from +888888888888, very strange number.. i answered, it's from Harley Davidson, speaking with Bahasa Indonesia, offering me to try riding their new product

That number called my phone early this morning at about 15 May 2019, 6:20 am 3 times in St Lucia west indies i did't answer the phone.+888888888888

Had a call from this number that lasted about 3 seconds before they cancelled the call. I immediately after got a call from an unknown number. I didn’t answer either of these calls.
