I received a voicemail at my place of work from this outfit!  I don't have any debt, outstanding bills, taxes, NOTHING!
Their message stated there was suspicious activity involving my account at one of my financial institutions, that there would be legal action and that I should return their call.

How do I get this to stop?!

My father got a message from these guys, I called wondering what was going on, this is what I got,

1. Name, that they did private investigative work.
2. phone, ex (that went to some other lady's ex), and name of Craig Stevens.
3. They checked the last four of my soc, which is common knowledge, and cross referenced my email. Also said I had applied for payday loans through this address, I have been getting junk email and texts for payday loans, but I've never applied for one. Also gave me my address from 2 years ago, and a bank account that was closed when I moved.
4. REFUSED to give me an address for them or the company who supposedly gave me this payday loan. What Legal firm doesn't have an address?
5. REFUSED to give me information about the account. Told me it would be given to me in the form of a summons. Told me they legally had 72 hours to file.
6. Craig disappeared. I called back and they wouldn't transfer me to him and the desk jockey refused to give me info too.
7. As soon as I said I would have my lawyer look at it, because I did not have a loan with anyone, they went on the offensive, said I was refusing to deal with it, I stated I was dealing with it by sending their number to my lawyer. I said good day and hung up.

says, this is a bank fraud alert. contact mcg processing in reference to complaint number 1419625 at 888-914-8766.  call came from 702-328-5213.  I called the 702 number and no one picked up

Complete nonsense. "We are an office of 300 attorneys, what is you name and phone number?" When I declined, he immediately went into a rant. Guess what campers; attorneys don't act that way. Complete nonsense. Remember *67 to block your caller ID if/when calling back.

OMG...You Too!!!!  And then today my assistant took a message from a "Victoria Lane" "Legal Assistant" saying there has been suspicious activity with my husband's ss# and wanted to "verify".....Yeah...like, verify what???? That these idiots are committing illegal activities themselves???? GMAB!

Called and left message that the cours were processing an action agains me. Again information from a payday loan is circulating from collector to collector. In Texas it is illegal to threaten a person with a court action. After almost 2 years it would have occurred by now. (The payday loan in question is actually in bankrtuptcy

My 10 year old son keeps getting voice mails left for a person that I do not know . They claimed to be MCRProcessing and left a case number. When I called they were very nice and said they would remove my phone number as we have a new phone number. Yesterday he had 3 new messages for this unknown person with three completely different case numbers to reference. Each message was a different person claiming a they were from a different company. The phone call said that  she was going to be sued. The three companies were mcg processing, dept of legal services, and the integrity group. However, they all left the same call back number of 888-914-8766 . Does anyone know their address because I am going to sue them for harassment

Got called again by this company and they are very aggressive and are looking for someone I do not know. I asked for their street address and she said not allowed to give it out.  I looked it up on their website and the address is 9999 euclid ave. Cleveland California. No zip code given so I entered it on usps.com and it is not a valid address.  I called them back and asked for street address so I can serve a court summons and she could not even tell me mailing address.

They are not lawyers. I just called and asked and she said they are a "processing" company for attorneys. I said that is very interesting because I am a paralegal and have never heard of this. Most attorneys handle this in house because of liability issues with misrepresentation.  She began stuttering and hung up.

I got a call.  Just said his name was Giovanni Genavse (spelling?).  Never said a name on who they were looking for but left a message on my answering machine.  They said that they received an affidavit of fraud and I had 72 hours to call back otherwise they were contacting my local police department .  What do I do?????

Same here. That Giovanni Genavse guy called my wife's phone threatening to file an affidavit of fraud and that she had 72 hours to call him back or they were going to contact local authorities. Total fake. He doesn't mention the name of the person he's looking for because he doesn't know who is going to be on the other end of the line. Second, he is making a threat to contact my "local authorities." Again, he can't be specific because he doesn't know who he's calling. These bozos have been calling my wife for about a year now. The only "affidavit of fraud" that should be filed is against them. They're total frauds and you shouldn't let them scare you or pay them a penny.

Some guy named Giovanni Genovisi left a message that I had committed "Fraud" and that I have to call in 72 hours or they would give it to law enforcement.  I called back and couldn't leave a message because the voice mailbox was full.  I have no clue as to what he is talking about, but it sounds like [***] scare tactics from a debt collector.  I'm sure I will hear fro them again and I will let you know what they say.
