Wanted "Chris".  We have had this # for 15 years and there has never been a person by that name here.  If they collect old debt as some have reported either someone is (wisely) giving a fake number or it is a REALLY old debt.  She did not identify herself or where she was calling from.

Some woman called from this number stating that she was with Contact Resource Services, and that she needed to speak to my wife about a file? I told her that I wasn't giving out my wife's cellphone number and that I didn't want to be bothered by her no more. She made a smartass remark about tell your wife to call us if you don't want to be bothered.

They keep calling my husbands cell with an automated message giving him a reference number. When he calls them back the mailbox is full. Its annoying.

The most ridiculously rude people call you and make these silly accusations and threats that just dont make any sense lol.

They would leave voicemail all the time  and whenever i pick up they would just hang up or accuse me of being a certain individual..

this no calls my phone al the time . it has to stop.

these ppl have many suits against them, as well as possible disbarment of the so called lawyer who owns the company-I can't remember her name but her Mom is/was a canadian political leader` --the same woman who got into that trouble bringing Russian women in to work strip clubs(or something like that)so long ago I cannot remember the details only that there is a shady history with these ppl.
They have been harassing us for years in spite of the fact that our case was settled back in 2007 when the original debtor wrote us off for their losses which we in turn paid tax on as the part we did not pay was considered "income". my husband had lost his job and we got so far behind, just paying what we could that the interest and penalties got out of control. basically we were forgiven a large chunk of all those interest fees and penalties but now this Darn company CRS somehow got a hold of our files and have been predatorial to the nth degree...today they called 3 times back to back but I refused to answer phone...they have several numbers they hide behind.  I block them, they call on a differen number from a different province....today I tried to block them and was told this 902 number with a prince Edward island cannot be blocked. WTF?  by my understanding only gov and non-profit numbers as well as campaigners numbers, can be exempt from blocking.

these ppl are bogus they go after wrong ppl, old forgiven and written off debts,  as well as non existent debts..they are unethical and pirhannas IMO so maybe you are one of them?????? why would you make such a comment when many of the posters here have stated that they are being harassed WITHOUT OWING ANY DEBTS TO CRS!

This number just called and could also be out of Phoenix Arizona they also have the same area code as Nova Scotia...They wanted to give me 2500 in air travel coupons and when I said no credit card they then asked me if I wanted 2 free air line tickets...I hung up.

CR's don't give them anything, they can't do anything to you legally, thy are no more than a telemarketing

902-442-8588 calls our house at least twice a day. We tried being friendly and asking if they could remove our number from their list. The person they are looking for do not live here.They keep phoning every day. So today my husband answered, he told her to stop calling this f@#Kin number or he will call the police. He hung up. She called right back and asked him who he thought he was, that she will call whenever she wanted and the police will do nothing about it. Then she said you live in a small community and you must know who I am looking for. His response was: this is my phone and I have had this phone for more than 15 years and I am asking you politely to stop calling here. She said NO, not until you give me the information that I want. He said ok what information do you need, to stop calling. She wanted someones phone number or address. He said I do not have that information, so stop calling. He hung up again. She calls back again stating he should get her the information that she wants or she will call back every day. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY. Do they honestly think people are stupid enough to go dig up information for them. NOT!!!!....I just wish these calls would stop.

Have received several calls asking for people I know, by name. These people don't owe money. Whoever they are, they are definitely scamming. I've reported them to the police.

Say nothing, hang up and add their number to your caller reject list.  Works for me!

My son is ten and he is getting calls also......he has never had any bills to pay.

Stupid collection company is hiring 'stay at home' losers to use their home phones to make collection calls.  Fortunately my phone blocks all phone numbers except my personal contact list.  This jerk collection company has hundreds of jerks around Canada in their employ, working from their homes, and stupidly enough using their home phone numbers to make these attempted collection calls.  Why they would sacrifice their home phone numbers to engage in this bottom feeder employment shows the signs of desperation that such callers have sunk to.   It makes me feel like a million bucks compared to these low lifes.  Do a Google look up on this phone number and you will find the stupid woman's number mixed in with all the phone identity results.  Dumb dumb dumb...  I hope she turns her home phone off at night... ;)

i to keep getting phone calls from this number, and I do not owe anyone money... and when i answer it.... i am on hold forever!!! then an automated message says, they will call back at a later time!!! like seriously!!!!!
