Guy called asking for our manager by name. I asked who he was and he said Tom the electrician. He used bad language and wanted the managers cell number. I hung up. He called right back and made cat noises into the phone. Weirdo!

This guys constantly calls and I tell him we don't give out out maintenance guys cell #, he proceeds to say well I need to get this part blah blah.  Guess what [***], we know you are just trying to scam us, but stop tying up my phone line for people that actually matter to us.  Today he thought it was appropriate to say "this is crazy" when I told him our guy takes care of all of our electrical stuff and get's parts from local companies.  I then told him he's crazy and hung up.  

We got a couple calls from this number. Said name was Tom but refused to say company but said something about electrician work. Very pushy with staff. When he did get thru to me he acted very familiar, but before I could say stop calling, the call diconnected on his end. Tried calling the number but it "abandons" after a few rings.

Very certain it is a scammer.

I just got a call from "Bill" at this #.  Tried to bluff his way through the system, but didn't work. Wanted names, ph #'s, etc.  Passed him through to a dead mailbox.  Good riddance.  I have no doubt he's a scammer.

Same deal  - called and acted baffled that he spoke with our maintenance guy last Tues and do I happen to have his name as he lost the info from him.  We don't have a maintenance guy. He reiterated that he was from Midway Electric and that our guy was really funny and he just needs his name. We don't have a maint guy and I told him that. I could hear a bunch of other people in the background on their phones and knew it was a boiler room deal going on.   He just called again and I asked him if he was a telemarketer. He said he was and raised his voice to me even after I asked him to take our number off his list!  Am filing complaint with FCC.

Received 3 calls from this incredibly rude guy!    Asked for the maintenance person that answered that phone yesterday, I told him that  no one else answers the phone but me and he accused me of  calling him out.  Wanted to speak to my manager and I told him that he was, told me that I was uptight and rude.  

I'm glad I googled the number. Wow, what a lot of information. I know now not to answer. Thanks...

Just had this guy call again.  He asked me if I knew who xxxx xxxxxx was in our Facilities Dept.  I said yes.  I already realized that it was a marketing call.  Then he made some stupid joke about him "running around" started doing this weird laugh and then ask me what my problem was.  I said I was waiting for him to be done laughing.  He said "I don't understand" then did the insane laughing and rambling. I hung up.

Just kept repeating yourself to this guy - he will argue and argue but do not put him through or give him a name. He was very RUDE and argued with me like a 2 yr old. Said he was Jack West from I & M electric and they were here working on our electrical and I said "there is currently no one here working on electrical" and he said oh no I need to check part numbers. He just kept arguing with me and said "I am here till 5pm, I will hold all day or keep calling you back till you transfer me". DO NOT PUT THIS GUY THROUGH OR GIVE HIM A NAME!

We have been receiving these calls for a while now and they will not stop. Same as all above, says he is with Midway and wants to get some part #'s, when I explained that I did not know he was, he hung up on me... When I call this # back it goes to a ladies VM.

This gentleman has called me numerous times this morning.  Needed to talk to someone in maintenance.  Explained to him we had several and I didnt have time to read him all the names.....transferrd him to voicemail.  He immediately called back and I transferred him again.  the next I excplain to him if he needs to talk to them LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!  Says he doesent have a cell phone, inquired about leaving the number he was calling from, said it was a dispatch number!!!!!!!!!!I was onto him quickly....very very rude.....he really doesnt want to call me back again!!!

Ayup, another liar called here, and not even a smart one. Called and claimed he'd "forgotten" the shop manager's name, needed to talk to him about a relay switch that, somehow! omg! didn't have a PO because, as he told me, "I TOLD YOU A RELAY SWITCH DOESN'T HAVE A PO NUMBER!!" and that it couldn't ship because it was a "5," whatever the moron thinks that means. Wouldn't tell me anything other than he was calling from "Midway."  

Alas, he hung up on me when I told him I'd looked him up in our system and, oh noes, he must have a wrong number because we'd never done business with a "Midway."  Pity.

Reported their shady/fraud/scam as well as sharing my experiences. What a dumb bunny.

Same thing happened to me - Steve from Midway called today and when I told him that I had checked with the person he was contacting they had no idea who he was. He then tried to tell me he had never contacted us, but he called at least 3x last week. He called me at least 5x today and I hung up on him numerous times. He tried the line that he needed a part number for the lighting and I knew he had no idea what he was talking about.

Same loser called here today.  Demanding our CFOs cell number.  I told him no.  He demanded that I have him paged.  This guy is bad news.  He tries to act as if he knows you personally.  WEIRDO.......hang up on him!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from Jim at Midway Electric - asked for person in charge of maintenance....actually gave address of building and name of one of the owners....he said he needed the name of the electrician that was in charge of the maintenance for the building....I asked him for a number that I could call him back....he said he was in a station that had no incoming lines....I told him to call back in an hour and I might be able to get information for him.  
Now that I looked up the number he called from and see the other comments, I know it is a scam....what kind of information is he looking for?  

Have gotten calls from this number numerous times.  Today he was "Standard Electric" and had names of people who worked here.  When I wouldn't give him the time of day he told me my rudeness would be met with "bad karma" and  that he would call back.  I guess him calling back is the "bad karma" part.  This company is as bad as the copier supply scammers that call and say they are your toner supplier.  Hang up on them!

I knew that "Kevin from Midway Electric" was a phoney. I put him on hold and googled the number on the caller id and got to read all the feedback. He was still holding so I picked up the phone and said "According to Google, you're a telemarketer." He laughed an hung up on me.

I have received calls from this person several times.  He says his name is Mike, calling from Commercial.  After transferring him the first couple of times, I spoke with my staff and discovered they have no idea who this person is and they've been trying to sell them things and won't back down.  Very persistent and very rude.  The last time he called, I told him he didn't want his services and hung up on him.  He called back saying "we must have gotten disconnected".  I became very stern with him, told him I have discussed his calls with my staff and we do not want his calls, or his services, and asked him to stop calling this number.  He over-talked me every time I tried to say something and finally left me alone once I called him out on his bs.  Do not answer, do not transfer, do not give these people the time of day!

called our office today it was a lady .... same thing kept asking for the maintenance person i told them i am that person... so after a back and forth of the same thing lady hung up

They've called us 4 or 5 times and tried again today. I saw the number and just let voicemail get it-I could hear these people talking to someone else using the same scam. They'll call from 909-670-2295 or from 2290.
I don't understand either how they can bill you. I thought the scam was to try to send you something, get a company PO, and rake you over the coals.
