Received a call this a.m. from this number; did not answer and did not call back because I did not recognize the number. Why are we getting these calls when we are on the Do Not Call registry? How can we stop them?

Recd the call I do not answer calls when I don't recognize the phone number. They left no message. I am on the Do Not Call list.

I did recieved this call around 10 this morning. i don't know wo this is , but I DO NOT have nothing for them!!!!!

I just got a call from this number and called it right back and it was disconnected already.

Same thing here...didnt answer call...no vm left.  sounds like a scam but its annoying

Some Robo call asking "If you want to reduce your interest rates to as low as 6%, press 1, if ......" I pressed 1 just to see who would be there, a woman with a very distinct "Indian" accent came on and asked me if I was responding to the offer, I said that they needed to give me the information, that I was not going to give any credit card information over the phone & immediately hung up phone.

Someone from this number continuously calls my phone.  I am on the do not call list.

Can you ensure they don't call again?

"Credit Card" scam called from 916-219-9223

Same as other responders.  Call said they could lower my interest rates on my credit cards.  When I pushed "1"  someone with a foreign accent answered and when I asked what he was referring to he said my Visa and Mastercard.  When I asked what the numbers were on the cards, he hung up.  I've reported this previously to Do Not Call.  Guess it didn't work.  Phishing.

Got a call from 916-219-9223 at 8:53am ~ Pacific Time on my "Do Not Call" cell phone.  Left no voice message.  Just another stupid telemarketer.  I hate how they are now working the cell phones!

I received a call on my cell phone at 9:34 a.m. today, Wednesday, August 29, 2012.  Wanted to sell me insurance and used the ploy of asking me to press 1 to get more info

called at 8:56 am... Caller ID showed ' '       I mean really that just screams scam to me

Received call on 08/30/12 about 11:00 a.m.  I pressed "1" and a man with a foreign accent said I could lower my rate to 6.99%.  I asked which card and he said "your visa or mastercard.  He said "I'm showing you have a balance on your account of more than $3,500 and your rate is more than 9.99%, is that correct?" I said I didn't know which visa or mastercard he was referring to, but then I just said that was correct to see what he would say.  He then asked for the expiration date on the card to confirm that it was actually me and that I still had the card.  When I said I didn't have the card with me, he hung up on me.  I immediately searched the number because I could tell it was a scam, just wanted to see what they'd ask for.

Got a call from this number on my office phone and they said it was Heather from Card Services...  Asking me as a credit card holder if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate to 6.9%...  I have checked this out, this is a SCAM.  I pressed one and did not get transferred (got disconnected instead).  I wanted to know where they got the number from as I have my office number on the Do Not Call Registry.

I just recieved the same call as everyone below said.   I called back and it sounds like a answering machine rather then a automated service.  It has to be a SCAM!!
