Report a phone call from 91-80-67873000 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- tay rae4 missed calls. no voicemail, I call back and i get "the number or code dialed is incorrect"
- India Scammers?Had 2 phone call's today didnt bother answering, No messages left!
- Scam| 1 replyI got 3 calls from this number today, 1 voicemail. They knew my name, number, and that I made purchases from Amazon yesterday. I called Amazon and told them this. They said this number is not affiliated with them and they sent the info to the fraud department.
- ScamUpdate from my message above. Amazon let me know that my account had been accessed by someone else (most likely the scammers who called me from the number in India). Amazon changed my password and canceled my orders. If you get a call from this number REPORT IT TO AMAZON! These people have access to your account!
- Carey934This is fake. If this were truly Amazon confirming a purchase, you could simply log into your Amazon account and verify any existing open orders. I got called from this number, I hung up on them. After reading here, I logged into my Amazon account and there have been no purchases or attempted purchases for months. These are the scammers themselves telling you they are not scammers. Nice, right?
- YI do know who call me from this number.
- bill86This is a phishing. I received a call from this number to ask me to confirm my two recent orders. They said they were from Amazon.com They asked my order information and the billing address and the last four digits. I was not very cautious and told them. Later in the day, Amazon.com hold my account and sent me an email saying a third-party tried to access my account but caught by Amazon. Amazon cleared all my credit card information and protected my money. The full email from Amazon as following:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After careful review of your account, we believe it may have been accessed and used by a third-party to attempt to make purchases without your permission. It seems that someone obtained your personal account and/or financial information elsewhere, and used it on Amazon.com to access your account. Please note that no unauthorized charges were completed as we were able to cancel the order(s).
We have taken immediate steps to secure your account. We’ve assigned a new, temporary password to prevent further access by the unauthorized third-party, and removed any credit cards or other payment methods from your account. Additionally, if any information was added to your account by someone other than you, it has been removed. Your account access has been restored and is available to use at your convenience.
You’ll need to reset your password when you return to our site. Just click “Your Account” at the top of our Home page and select “Forgot your Password?” in the Settings section.” Enter your email address as prompted, and once completed, we'll send you an e-mail containing a personalized link. Click the link from the e-mail and follow the directions provided. Your new password will be effective immediately. Please note that you will need to re-enter your complete credit or debit card number during the checkout process.
It is important to know that Amazon.com accounts can only be accessed by those who know personal, specific information about you and your account, including your email address and Amazon.com password. As mentioned above, it appears someone obtained this personal account information elsewhere and used it on Amazon.com to access your account.
While it is not clear how this happened in your case, we do know that personal account information is often obtained by scam artists who send unsolicited email to unsuspecting users asking them to "update" their account information. The email usually contains a link to a website that is controlled by the thief asking the user to submit personal information including email address, password, credit card number, and other relevant information. Once the information is obtained, the scam artist can then gain access to numerous online accounts since many internet users frequently use the same user name, email address, password, and financial information at multiple web sites.
Please know that Amazon.com employees will *never* ask for your password, nor will we ever send an email asking you to verify personal information.
Although it appears someone did access your Amazon.com account, they would not have been able to view your full credit card numbers as they are never displayed on our site. However, it is possible your credit card numbers may have been compromised at the time your other personal information was obtained. Therefore, we suggest you carefully review recent credit card statements to check for any unusual activity or unauthorized charges.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Hello WorldJust got a call from this number stating from Amazon. Did not ask me for any personal information other than asking if I recently ordered X item on Amazon.com and to verify my shipping address.
Seems legit.- Caller: Amaozn
- DanThis is REAL weird to me. First, the caller didn't introduce himself and just said "have you made some recent purchases on Amazon?". I just nicely asked if the call was a scam and the guy hanged up... Would Amazon hang up to a customer after a basic question????
- CarlosGot the call. I have no idea since I didnt answer. I had just opened an account inthe morning and purchased an expensive item.
I've been looking at the number and I found this... Not sure if real or fake, but the number appears as one on their Development Centre in Bangalore: http://www.highwayfinindia.org/india-jobs?vie ... dia%29+Pvt.+Ltd- Caller: Amazon
- sicksteaveI have just received a call on this number claiming to be Amazon.co.uk confirming a large purchase wasn't fraudulent activity, he knew my full name mobile number and asked for nothing but confirmation of the legitimate purchase. After he put the phone down I called my credit card company and there was a $1 purchase after "my" last purchase (this is to confirm the card is active) I put a block on it! No spendy spendy on me scumbag...
Do not let anyone tell you otherwise this number is connected to fraudulent activity!- Caller: Amazon.co.uk
- Bowman BookstoreThis call was from Amazon verifying the closing of one of my Amazon selling accounts (which I had requested) and that it would follow up with an email. So for me this call was legit.
- Caller: Amazon
- MattCall was legit for me as well, they left a long message referencing a case ID I'd opened up as a seller on amazon and explained the outcome of the investigation. The details were correct and no information was asked of me that would have been suspicious, and I looked the number up here before checking the voicemail so I was on guard. Don't know why it appears to be fraudulent for some people and not for others, but if you are a seller on amazon and you get a call from this number, it could be legit. Was for me.

- Jdp replies to DaneI just called the number back and it said it was amazon prevention. I pushed 0 to talk to someone. When they asked how they could help me. I told them I had just gotten a call from them about an order which I checked my account and 0 have been place in the past six months. He hung up on me immediately. That was 2 minutes ago. I'd this is amazon customer service them need some lessons. Plus my credit card was compromised last week already so there was no way my credit card was used in the past 5 days as it is canceled.
- Jdp| 1 replyCopy of my conversation with amazon.ca about this:

- BillIt is Amazon from India. It is not from Texas. The call I received was very specific, related to a non-purchase issue I've been having with Amazon. The person had information that no one else would have / could have had.
- Caller: Amazon
- too many conspiracy theories replies to ScamFunny how you think you got them by calling amazon and they sent it to the fraud department. Funny because it was the fraud department that called you in the first place. I am a large seller on amazon, and they do these calls to make sure that your info was stolen. All of these theories are hilarious since the calls are to help you from having all of your money stolen.
- it is real replies to JdpAmazon is an enormous company that spans the globe. They try and keep the Fraud Protection a secretive thing since it deals with peoples info, and they dont want it to draw attention for scammers. It is a real division in Amazon that is calling you. It is because they want to verify a purchase or let you know of a possible breach in your personal info. Most of the people that you talk to at Amazon probably dont even know that there is such a division. This is not the X-Files, it is a company that is trying to make sure that your info is safe, and they arent going to be losing any money. That is also why they ask for your info, so they know that they are talking to you ( the real person) and not the scammers that got your info.
- Eric JFor me, this is legit. I am a seller on Amazon and had opened a case today. I got the call from this number (did not answer) and shortly thereafter, my case log on Amazon had an entry "Called - reached voice mail".
- Caller: Amazon
- Joe BIt is legit, I used stored card information to make a large purchase and they declined payment because I had recieved a new card with different information,(CC#, date, etc).
