Got a text message. From what i gather it is when a Yahoo user uses the instant messenger to send a text message. Mine came from EnzymeMachine with a url.

You can carry on conversations with people on Yahoo via texting this number.

i got a txt with 92601, what is it mean. does it mean that someone was trying to reach me or something?

I am also with T-Mobile.  My cell is a completely unlisted number.  No one I know uses Yahoo.,  The message from #92601 said "aundreygiantz:  Hi.  See http://" and there was pure jibberish for a url.  Immediately another text came in from #92701 saying "A Yahoo! user is trying to send you a text message.When it arrives, select 'Reply' to continue the conversation.  Fore more info, visit, mobile.yahoo.com".

Don't need this crap.

Please tell me who is texting this number

I'm trying to find out how to trace this txt msg I received on my cell phone last night. It came in as AE-92601 but I don't know who this is. Yahoo sent me a previous txt msg letting me know I was going to get this msg.

The girl got a hold of me on myyearbook.com said she was in texas but was going back to alabama and then on to california with some sort of a medical job. This morning she text me again and said good morning. I've been google number and got this website this person is a scu9j8ammer

Last night my husband got a msg from 92601, before that a msg from yahoo stating someone is trying to send him a msg. When the msg came thru it stated that he was my man and that my husband does nothing for me and so forth. Needless to say my husband is in an uproar thinking Im cheating. So after a little investigating found out it some local guy. Its a little creepy.

I have been getting text messages from 92601 supposedly from a girl who wants tomove n with me Iam starting to think this who thing is a scam i just want to know if it is really her contacting me.

I met a guy on christiandatingforfree.com  he then started text my cell saying he was a captain in the army.  He said he was financially secure stationed in Afghanistan. On the 3rd day of chatting w/me he ask me to send him 3 pairs of converse star tennis shoes for sone orphan kids, he also asked for a pair on converse for himself, and another fir his commander.  Red flags immediately went up for me when he said he wanted the converses to jog.  Who the hell jogs in converses.  I think this is a scammer wanted to get free stuff from when in the name of love.  I am not a fool, I text him back n told him if he wasfinacially stabled he can purchase his on damn converses.

This code is the code from Yahoo that alot of scammers are using. Anytime anyone gets a message from  CODE 92601
delete it and send a text back that says STOP and see if it stops.

Pretty sure it's phone hacking. All they need is a reply to have access to your phone. I just wiped my blackberry.
The text read something like: hey what you doin phone is off
It was from that same number you guys are talking about.

I met a man through a date site, cupid I believe.  Anyway hadn't talked in a long time as I was scammed by several others and no longer am a paying member.  The other day I get an email that he wants to know why I stopped chatting with him.  After my explanation we agreed to start talking again and exchanged cell phone numbers.  When I receive texts from him it comes up as 92601.  His name is Franklin Don living in N.J., but originally from Ireland.  His yahoo is franklindon57.  Should I be concerned? I had never seen this type of thing on my phone before as a text message.  I have noticed getting several calls from a private number and when I answer no one is there. Also I keep getting a call from a number in Grass Valley, Calif. (I live in Northern Ca. not far from there) that I don't know.  Same thing, no one there.  I am no longer answering these, but just forwarding to voice mail.  Are any charges linked to this 92601 text? I tried to send an sms via yahoo and put in his cell phone number (646) 475-2202, but said the number was not valid.  I also sent texts to this number, but he said he didn't receive them. We did photo share on yahoo so felt better with that.  I guess I should have gone with my gut in the first place and ignored the invite to start chatting again.  Guess I will start hanging out at the grocery store for dates!!! LOL

I am getting mulitple text from this number claiming to be a Solanda Wilson. I think that it is a craigslist scammer. But I cant be too sure. They replied to an add that I had posted on craigslist to rent out a room in my home. About a week later I recieved a check in the mail from a company in California for $2,750.00. This was to secure the room with first and last months rent. They also made a request that was strange. This "Solanda Wilson" has asked me to wire money to a Melissa Leggit at a Richland Auto Sales to have a 08 Toy Camery delivered to my home. I am nervous that this may be a scam or some type of money laundering! What should I do. She claims to be 27 years old, from overseas, going to college for micro-biology, goes to church every sunday, and can not call me. She claims that she can only text and that her father will have to contact me. What should I do?

I would not be too alarmed. I am recieving a text messages that are also coming from this number. This person claims to be a " Solanda Wilson" 27 trying to rent a room from me through craigslist I think that is a scam.
