I do pay my bills and they still call!!! When I answer and they tell me I haven't paid. I explain I have paid and they say Oh, I see here you have paid." THEN QUIT CALLING!!!

I have not answered it but they keep calling with no message. If i don't know the # I will not answer leave a message if its important. Another comment said that it was GE money.I do hold a very small account with them. I missed one payment and immediately made the payment when I realized a week later. This should not be a debt collector, if it is ill be pissed.

Calls my cell phone repeatedly and does not leave messages. My account is not only up to date but 6 payments are set up in advance on their website to pay out twice a month. This is in advance of my due dates! I am working and ride a motorcycle so most of the time I am not able to answer my phone it is harrassing for them to keep calling and calling and calling and to not leave any messages!

Then you call back and it tells you to enter in your account number as it appears on your statement. ... NOT!!   Then you get put on hold for a long time when you try and call them back.

I just hung up sick of waiting listening to music.

The problem is that my bills ARE Paid.  I only have 3 things on loan, my truck, RZR and credit card and none of them are with this company

Thank you rdbam....this is good information.  I actually made my payment to GE and they keep calling right up until 9:00 p.m.  8:59 p.m. last night.  They start calling my cell phone at 8:00 a.m.  I will try your tactics next time they call.

Here we go again.She tries to get someone to answer th machine.I will not pick up if i don't know who it is.

I just got off the phone for the second time since December 2011. After determining they had the wrong phone number back in December I put their number on call block.

Then it started again about 3 weeks ago, calls several times a day, 7 days a week, between 9 AM and 10PM, EST.

I finally had enough even though they were not getting through the block the phone still rang once.

I took them off block and received the next call. It was as other people described a maze of push this and that. I didn't date push the button for you have the wrong party, because I tried that back in December too.

I finally got a rep.heavy accent and I vented. I told her I have had this phone number for well over 60 years and there is no one with that name living at this address, nor do I know the party.

She said she was sorry and she would remove the number immediately. I told her your company told me the same thing 3 months ago. She said well their are different departments.She kept insisting she would remove the number. I finally gave it up.

If it is GE Money, DO NOT IN ANY CASE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!  We got hit with those bogus charges, so we called them.  Asked if we were EVER LATE with a payment, the answer was NO.  So I asked why these charges.  Our payment is due the 5th of the month.  We always send out our payment a little early to make sure it gets there before the due date, but if they end up posting 2 payments for the same month, you are early and you get a charge for that.  They would NOT abate the charges.  We have asked them 3 times, 2 by letter, once by phone to send us an auto deduct form through our checking account.  We have not received anything from them, they don't want to do that so they can charge these STUPID FEES!  Should be reported to the BBB.

These places will call for awhile, and then they wills top eventually. They may sell your debt to an outside collection company later, and they will do the same thing to you, but they will also eventually give up.

These companies don't have the time or resources to try and sue people for small claims sized debts, so they eventually write it off and stop calling..,

And after 6 years they have no further legal right to try and collect a debt - as long as you don't agree to any type of payments during that time span, because if you do they the 6 year clock starts all over again.  I believe it is 6 years in NY state, but varies depending on which state you are in.

They call numerous times each day and started at 8:30 Sunday morning as well.  Always hangs up.
