A recording said that it was imperative that I call them.  I hung up immediately.  The recording was very rude.  I know the call was not for me, I have no debt to be collected.

Does anyone know the address to Atas Recoveries

The number was 9497977104. Thy had all my info.I'm a little scared what should I to?  Thy sd that they would stop calling but they had my social # my bray and I don't know what I should do any help?

these folks are undoubtedly debt collectors, slimiy debt collectors.  They are calling family and friends of people in debt.  It is illegal for them to call someone who is not the debtor.  If you receive many of these rude calls you can report them to the DO NOT CALL list or to your local police department and then to your local phone company.

When I returned their call they would not tell me what the nature of their business is.
This inability to be forthcoming about who they represent and their rude behavior demands that they be called SLIMEY!

I also believe that they use this phone number:  949 483 0469  because once I blocked the949-797-7100 number I began to get calls from the other number....these folks are slime balls!

These people keep calling my ill mother that has a health condition and harassing her to get information on me.  Somehow they got my information and wont stop calling.  I want them to stop harassing her and lose my information before I get police involved.

I am reading these reviews about Atlas Recoveries.
Why can't you people just pay your bills without complaining?
You borrowed the money, it's time to pay it back, you people are probably the same people to complain about the government, get off the computer and get a job and pay your bills.
You're the problem look in the mirror and fix it.
BTW I lost my job went into debt and I am in the process of paying it back now.

Police can't help you if you have a valid debt and you are just refuses to pay your bills that is called stealing in most country's

Got a call from 949-797-7100 asking for my husand by his nickname, saying that their was a complaint on him from our bank. He would not give me anymore information. He asked if this was his wife and I said yes, but he did not call me by name. Our bank is in his legal first name, so that was the 1st red flag. I called our bank and they didnt have a clue what I was talking about and told me that if I got anymore info to be sure and let them know, and assured me that nothing at all was wrong with our account. I will be curious to hear the conversation when my husband does call him back. Like all the other post, he was extremly rude and "made" it sound very important that he call him back. I worked for a bank for 30+ years and I am very aware of things like this. I asked if my husband should call him back on the number he called from and he said no to call him on 949-797-7105, this is the direct number to his office, that way I would not have to be transfered trying to reach him. This guy's name was Justin Daniel with Atlas recovery. I will post again after we call them back.

I have now been scammed by this company.  The caller stated he was from our county courthouse and that I was going to be sued.  I agreed...stupidly... to set up a payment plan to avoid this lawsuit.  I have now pulled my credit report and the only outstanding debt is not in atlas recovery's hands but another collection agency. I have been in contact with them and they assured me that yes I have been scammed by atlas.  It was their suggestion I pull my credit report.  In fact I pulled all three , just in case.  I am planning to contact my bank to stop all further payments and also contact the FTC and BBB also the police.  The gentleman I spoke with the day I agreed to a payment plan never let me know he was from Atlas...he stated he was working for the County Courts.  He stated he would email me paperwork and mail it as well. I never received either.

Pretty sure peple just want to make sure they are who they say they are!!!

Have no idea what this is, but will definitely ignore it.  Feels like a BIG SCAM.

yeah they call me once or twice a day finally left message for my sister say its important shes under investigation just a bunch of crap wish somebody do somthing about this

Scam #, called bk and advised them to stop calling me after leaving false threats. Gave them my # and they said they do not have it in there system. Have called at least 10 times.

Biggest DICKS ever!!!! Calling about an outstanding bill, telling me if I wanted to waste his time to get off his phone...well ok goodbye... SORRY, you will not collect a debt when you act like [***]!

Probably should contact them back and see what they are trying to get a hold of you about. It could be a wrong number or same name wrong s.s umber and D.O.B , but you refuses to call them will not stop the calls

p.s if it is a debt of yours, if you have the means i suggest you attempt to settle it because of the new laws protecting those creditors that have professional debters racking up debts and not paying them back

Crystal you might have a got a collector that wasnt having a good day, if it is a valid debter contact them back and ask for a manager
