- BobbiI also received the same call last night - I posted my resume on Monster a couple of days before. As soon as I heard "press 1" I hung up. No legit company would do this!
- Caller: Unknown
- GHI received this call last night about 6:00p with the same recorded female voice message that others have posted. I googled the number b/f calling back. My most recent posting of a resume to any job board was to Monster a couple of days ago. I would suspect that they are gaining peoples info from there. I have had this problem when posting to Monster before, but it was some time ago.
This website has some ideas of how to protect your number from these types of calls, hope it helps:

- jltk2002 replies to ohboyI posted my resume with yahoo and a company listed as Self Opportunity on Hotjobs. I also received this call today. The caller ID only showed up as Texas, and the number.
- KerriSame thing just happened to me. I submitted my resume on careerbuilder.com. I got excited thinking I might have found a job. Can't believe it's fake. grr
- KerriAlso, when I entered my zip code, it gave me an address of the closest location, so I looked it up on 411.com. Nothing there. I then googled it, the building is for sale/lease. definitely a scam
- TracyJust got called by this number on my cell phone. I posted my resume to careerbuilder. So it appears they are trolling careerbuilder. I called it back and it routed me to recruiting in Lansing MI, no one answered. Strange.

Just got a call on my cell from 972-200-9825. Female voice gave the same line as noted above in other threads...press 1 for a representative, **press 9 to be removed from our list**. NEVER have I heard any message like this before from a prospective employer looking to hire. I googled the number...and what do you know? I got this message board with many others stating the same issue. I just hung up.
I've posted my resume online to CareerBuilder, Monster, Craigslist, and about 20+ other job boards, with employers or recruiters being able to view my resume and contact info (cell #, address, & email). I don't care if third party recruiters get that info, as I've worked with several of them before (all were pleasant and very helpful to work with, minus one who jerked my chain around, but you can't call them all bad because one screws you over.) All calls I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FOR A JOB OFFER have been through 3rd party recruiters (talking with real people, not machines), or actual compnay reps. I am not calling this number back, because I don't want to be charged any potential fee.
Dallas? Heck, I'm located in SW OH for pete's sake...I can't AFFORD TO RELOCATE. I despise these calls, wastes my time and makes me angry. Has to be a scam.- Caller: unknown

- JennThe number is connected to the company "Liberty National" They are picking up resumes posted on Monster.com and other job websites. The message they leave is usually a voice recording. If you call the number back, you will get send to a representative. Basically, they are doing interviews for people to sell insurance.
