This same "Amy" called me!

Exact same message as every one else on this post. The number "Amy O'Neal" called from on my phone log is 972-427-4339 in Crandall Texas  woman answered "Thanks for calling T & E and wouldn't say what company this is other than they represent many companies!!

this Amy O*neil called and say something will be delivered on my address ,and if YOU nhave a question call this n o. and I replied and she said "Is is a wrong no. don't worry about it.

Amy is still at it.  Just got my call around 2pm.  

Received a call from "Amy" from Accufile.. she never stated my name or provided a case number but said there was a complaint and papers will be served to my home or place of business and to call "client" directly at 800-331-4064.. I did call this number and they told me that the case was being turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney and he hung up on me.

I got the same call and message left on my answering machine from Amy who was calling from Accufile. I was told that there was a former complaint and to return the call to 1-800-331-4064 for valid I.D. and papers were going to be served to my home or place of employment.  I was curious to see what this BS was about and returned the call and I got a recording.
This is just another reason why I should get rid of my landline so I don't have to get calls from crooks and idiots anymore!

Had the same message on my cell.  Scam!  did not call back.  Do not respond.

I got this on my cell phone just now...  getting rid of your landline will not help.

I just got the same recording from "Amy" too. It also mentioned a complaint and papers being served at my home or workplace. The 800 # she gave was the same too 800-331-4064.

No. Amy gave me a call, same message, on my landline, in Detroit, MI. I agree with a previous post that a server already has your info they don't call... they just serve. A collection agency gets right to the point as to when can we receive payment for said company. If you don't have your case# they ask you for your telephone# and tell you your name so you can verify yourself. They don't ask for your SSN!! Not calling back!!! I'm glad I decided to do my own investigation and google Accufile and find this site. If they have anything for me let them have at it!!

I got the same call but didn't answer because a couple weeks ago I got a similar call where a man told me I was going to be served some papers and that charges were being brought up on me and that he couldn't give me any more information. He then gave me a number to call and told me when I called to tell them "? Johnson" called me. When I called the other number a rude man answered and informed me if I paid $250 now over the phone, my bill would be settled out of court and the charges would drop. Lol. I guess he expected me to just give him my debit card information. I hung up and still have seen no charges. This call is the same thing but a different person!

Called me 3x today, no message. I am not calling back.

I got one today, the same return phone number only the call came from Crandall TX 972 427 4339

Just received the same call from Amy, called the 1-800 number given to me. the person on the phone said I owed Sprint $600 from 2002 but would settle for $300. Called Sprint to verify this and the nice lady at Sprint stated I was in good standing and did not owe them anything.

I'm  sorry, this is not a legitimate company.  Hopefully we will see them on 60 minutes soon!

I got this same message last night. Never answer numbers I dont know.  After googling number and checking the commemts I am convinced it is a scam. Wish these peoplev would get a life!!!!! How can they live with themselves scaring people!! Get an honest job!!!!

I received the same call and same name, yet she never stated my name and a case#. She called my cell phone and left a message. Someone must have used my number, as my cell# has been mine for about 16 years.

Also receive this call from "amy" claiming i am being served with papers and to reach her "client" directly i need to call "800-331-4064" and blah blah blah, This appears to be a fake collection agency.  They make you think your being sued and offer a bogus settlement. Do Not Call Them Back. Even if it were a real collection agency or if you were actually being sued, you would personally recive no benifit from calling. Also they don't mention your actual name during this fake call because they don't know it. This is an information gathering scam. you call them and they get your name and try to get your social and credit card numbers. its a very common scam. once they have enough info they pretend to that you are the wrong person so they can extract the info they need to acess your accounts and be forgotten as suspect when you realize your identity has been stolen and you now owe a million dollars in loans taken out in your name.

I received a call from Amy yesterday with the same call back number. When I did call the number they were trying to claim a debt that I am currently making payments on.
