I got a call from 1-979-446-0366 @ 2:55 p.m.on June 11, 2010 but they left no message.

I am also with Telus and keep getting calls from the phone number in question. I get numerous calls per day, each time I answer to have them put me on their do not call list but there is no answer and no one of the phone. Very annoying. Not even sure how they got my number as it's not posted anywhere on the Internet (that I know of).

this number called me today, i didnt answer and no message was left. alot of these companies get your number from social networking sites like facebook.

This number is from Texas and its a scam! Sure wish they wouldn't call 4 times a day frequently.

They just called here, but I was out at the moment and they left a message and said that I won an trip to Orlando and that I have to call the #, but, I think, call me stupid, but if I won something, I thought that it would be free :S ....   I live in Northern Quebec....

Just got a call from these people. Don't know how they got my no# as I have an unlisted no# and anonymous call blocking. These damn solicitors are really getting pushy.

I got a call about an hour ago.   I answered, someone hung up!  Crazy!

I was at work, got home and the telephone number stated above had called my home. As a personal rule without exception, If I don't know you, you don't need to call me. The only numbers I would answer are from work family friends or my bank. Any other number is a scam or call center product to be sold. Also if important leave a message. I have been recieving alot of odd calls similar to this lately...all from the US. I live in Ottawa, ON. I also have an unlisted phone number. This is what happens when you buy stuff online with credit cards.

I keep getting  this random call...L1-979-446-0366... im unlisted & dont buy stuff on-line.. Telus  doesn't  seem to be doing anything about this.

This number calls, 1 979 446 0366 then hangs up, then you phone it back and it says it out of service, Then you think meh, just a wrong connection, then it calls you 2-3 times a week. Then you call your phone service provider and they tell you there is nothing they can do. Then if you get cranky enough they give you the number to the "National Do Not Call List" that all telemarketers are suppose to abide by.(in canada) Too bad if they call from the states!! thats not covered in their policy, You can add your cell phone number to the do not call list and the operator tells you if you add a cell phone number it may just increase your telemarketer calls! What???
For all the bloody technology in the world and how old the phone is how hard is it to block and number?? I mean WTF I can block and email by typing it in but not a harassing phone number??

this number called my alberta cell phone twice. both times, it rang once and then hung up. wtf.

called me at work and at home, no message left when I actually did answer they hung up.

i changed my phone number for this specific reason and now it is not listed and only 4 poeple have it.  So please tell me how this co. got my number now?

Yesterday the buggers called my land line, then 2 hours later my cell- I didn't answer.  Just checked my cell, another 2 calls this evening.  Boy, are they going to get an ear full when I pick up next time.
