Just got a call right now but didn't pick it up

Just got a call from the same number on my unlisted cell phone number.  Didn't pick up and didn't get a voicemail... sounds like they're obviously scamming......

I just got a call from this number but didn't pick up. No message left. Got another from a different number. (1-647-288-3817) Not sure how my number gets out.

The call display made me suspect it was voice spam.  I answered but said nothing so as not to trigger the sound detection and then have it route to an operator.  A human will generally say something like Hello?   It clicked (disconnect) after 20-30 seconds.   How do they get your unlisted number you wonder?  They just call them all.   Call a number then add 1 then call again & repeat.  In the old dialup modem days this was called war dialing.  For a good laugh lookup Tom Mabe  or http://tommabe.com/  He pranks the telemarketers.  Myself I like to answer everything nonsensically and agree with them or tell them to hold the phone while I check the stove.   Then I put the phone under a pillow and take a crap or cut the grass.  Do waste their time as this makes them call less people, and more importantly they will want to not call you as you will waste their time!

2 calls left on  my cell phone from this number.  I am in Vancouver I guess it is going across Canada.
Did not answer.   If it walks like a scam. talks like a scam and rings like a scam. It is a scam.  Attempted to call # on land line and the # is not in service.  HMMMMM

This is a SCAM!! Call 1-888-495-8501 and report the issue to CAFC (Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre). They are with the RCMP, OPP and Competition Bureau. The number can be reached across Canada and the United States.

Just got a call from this number at 8:25 p.m., no message or anything.  I did not answer it, then I do a reverse lookup and see all these pages with the same kind of thing.  We should send Phone company all this pages with all complaints and see what they will not do for us.

Got same call from same number but this time his name was Michael Snow. Hung up on the cheery [***]. [***], wasting our time and preying on the feeble.

I just received a call from 979-446-0366.  I called back and it says that there is no service anymore at this number... then I searched on the internet and here I am... My phone number is confidential, so I really don't know how they got my phone number...

We're in Vancouver, BC and received a call from this number at 2:40pm today June 18.

Call display shows number 1-979-446-0366 but no name or other identification.  Caller did not leave a message.

Our number is not published so we don't know where they got it.  They may be calling numbers in sequence.

It's so annoying to get these calls.

i recived 4 calls from them im the past 2  hours and i live in vancouver

I am also in Vancouver and have been getting the same calls on my cell phone. They have called the past 4 days, I don't answer and they don't leave a message. I called the number and it says the number is not in service. I do not plan on answering and I hope they will stop calling!

apparently I won a trip to Mexico. Sure. Nothing more stupid than accepting a prize and letting somebody I don't know at what time I'm not going to be at home so they can come and robe me.

Got a calal from the same number on my CELL PHONE. I just got this phone less then 6 months ago...how the hell do they get an unlisted cell phone number?

Got a call from 979 446 0366, did not answer and no message, caller IS shows from Bryan, TX

this number called me from "Bryan Texas" it says on my phone
they called my cel phone
didn't pickup.

I see people are feeling bad that they gave their number to a company that sold their number. To make you feel better, these callers are telemarketers and they don't need to get your number from someone to call you! It is not rocket science: they just pick and area code and some randomly generated numbers and voila it is YOUR number!
