Received a call from 01268 557600  congratulating me on winning a free holiday which included return flights, that I should ring 08009889904 to claim my prize.  Operator allegedly Ben Brown ensured me that not a scam, (even though I told him that) I was aware of a company, probably the same company I went for an interview for to become a survey operative.  The interviewer informed me that when the customers are contacted they are all told they have won a holiday and that this was because statistically only a small number would follow it through.

Also recieved call from 01268 557600 saying that we had won a holiday for 2 after answering a questionnaire in York.  Said to ring 08009889904 to claim the holiday.  We said that we had a daughter so that a holiday for 2 was really no use.  He said that he was sure that it would be no problem if we just rang the number!!  However we would have to ring the number today, and before 3pm, as the telephone syste, was going to be shut down for maintainance after that and it would be too late.
Guess it will be too late then.

I was stopped in the street in December and asked to complete a survey. At the end the girl said "are you a home owner" and I said no I rent privately. She said OK and that if I wanted to win I should put down home owner. I said no and although I'd already completed the three questions I told her to destroy the sheet. I got the call today to say that I had won and I said that I was not eligible as I am not a home owner; the lady told me that "there's no scam and you HAVE won so you may as well have the tickets - just ring 0800 988 9904" to claim. I said "OK" and searched online to find this forum. Its a scam - what a surprise.

I was collared around Christmas time & reluntantly answered a survey in Droylsden, Manchester. The numbers involved have been 01268557600 & 0800 9889904. I must admit at first I fell for it as Im a total sucker but luckily for me my husband isnt! He refused to accompany me to the “presentation” in Haydock. I only googled the number to prove to my Husband that it was not a scam & persuade him to come & claim our desperatley needed holiday!!!

If you get a call from 01268 557 600 or 01268 557 600 (when ringing the choose to refuse line) advising you to ring an 0800 number to claim free holiday do not bother to ring the freephone number. The call is probably a business such as Club La Costa with a scam to get you to attend a time share presentation. The Time Share Association is 01909 591100 and are aware that theyre are many unscrupulous organisations operating in the Time Share Business.

The Law is changing in April to stop these scammers using enticement such as claiming you have won a holiday and the Trading standards will have power to prosecute. I did not part with money. I did not lose anything I simply do not like being lied to. I will never buy time share as the whole industry seems incapable of regulating itself and at the present time there is no authority with power to investigate and stop these unscrupulous practitioners.

I received a phone call today informing me that I had won a free holiday anywhere in Europe or the UK after completeing a survey in Droylsden Manchester. I was asked to call 08009889904 to claim my prize. Being the suspicious person that I am I dialled 1471 to obtain the telephone number of the person who had contacted me, and guess what the number was 01268 557 600. I googled the 0800 number which led me to this forum. Many thanks for highlighting this scam to me! Remember you get nothing for free!!!!!!

I have just received a follow-up call from 01268 557600 telling me I've won a holiday for 4 and to call 08009889904, I don't believe that we get anything for free so googled the freephone number which also led me to this site!

Won a Holiday, Scam Scam Scam come to Haydock Park on the 22nd Feb 2008, Dont bring your children and it will only take 2 hours to review your holiday destination, yeah right i have 2 children to look after so wont be going. Oh by the way my Partner asked if this was timeshare and the answer was NO ! wrong it is. I completed a questionnaire inside Mothercare is this right can they enter a premises and do this.

I received a call today saying I had won a free holiday by filling in a questionaire 18 months ago - I never fill in questionaires.  The number I had to call was 08009889904 within 15 mins to also claim high street vouchers.  I asked if it was timeshare he said no, they did do timeshare but this was a free holiday to prove they were a good company.  I didn't phone I googled instead - there is no such thing as a free lunch or holiday!!

i recieved the same call yesterday to contact 08009889904 as i had won a luxury first prize holiday, blah blah blah. apparently i had completed a questionaire last month, he even had me convinced that i had completed one. anyway, google  the number i had to phone to claim and what a surprise i end up here. hey ho its a good old fashion uk camping break for me this year!!!!!one that i have arranged myself.

i also recieved a phone call for the 08009889904 in regards to a holiday from a completed the survey in york. The gentlemen i spoke to was very honest with me in fact, told me the ins and out of everything. I was told that i am entitled to recieve a luxury european holiday award, in which my first thoughts we're that i've just won a holiday, but that wasnt the case as i did miss hear what he said. This is a holiday promotion for a holiday club. I was then to mention that i have already been on this promotion about 10 months ago, and that was outstanding. i am no member of a holiday club and i havent bought into anything at all and i enjoyed a fabulous time at spain in the costa del sol. so there is truth behind this as they will say: you will not have to buy join or rent anything and its 100% true. YOU DONT. definately worth the time

Got about 8 of these calls in the last 5 months. From 01268557600 telling me to call back on 08009889904. I never do. Once they called back and asked me why I had not claimed my trip, now how did they no that?

I received a call today (10/3/08) saying that I had a won a prize following the completion of a survey I had done. I was told that unfortuneately it was not the first prize of £10,000 but indeed a holiday for 4 - all expenses paid. I was given the number in order to claim.
