Report a phone call from 08708500660 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- KarenHad the welsh guy call today and he made me feel like I was not worthy of his so called sales technique, persistant, arrogant and he put the phone down mid sentence after my third polite answer that we were not interested. This is a company who would not get my custom!!
- Caller: Credit Safe UK
- Gareth - East SussexThe company Credit Safe actually offer a very good service - it is however (already mentioned) their sales staff (account managers) that are the reasons as to their lack of business.
Credit Safe offers businesses a facility to check another companies credit risk etc for account opening purposes. The facility is very very good indeed and helped our company no end!
Unfortunately their sales team ruin a great product in their telesales techniques (or lack of!)
I run a leasing company for the MD, and this last week we have been getting these calls from this company - the only thing is I leave the phone on the desk and listen to the little welsh man saying "hello..... hello..... hello..... hello.... hello" he calls a minimum of 12 times a day, sometimes more!
Now I am completely p*ssed off, and I will happily supply you all on here with their details for you all to make the calls to them, sending them emails, letters etc etc!!!
Here you are then...

Gareth - anon**DON'T EVER CALL THEM BACK**
just had this [***] call me too. very stange, very short conversation. noticed that it's an 0870 number that they call from. having read the above posts can i please suggest that if they call you then don't call the number back: 0870 numbers are expensive to call and, guess what, the company who you are calling gets the revenue whenever you call them. I wonder if that's their game!? - joanI was being bombarded with calls from this number every day and was pissed off with them, I brought a radio into the office and when they call I ask them to hold on a minute until I get comfortable at my desk and then I blast them with music and they hang up. The calls are getting fewer.
- DougThanks to this page I was able to see who the missed call was from. I shall avoid this lot like the plague, many thanks!

- swe have had this number call us virtually everyday since we intiailly spoke to them. they are extremely rude and aggressive and don't seem to be able to take no for an answer. They obviously forgot that all our calls are recorded and when we put them on hold, we could hear the individual speaking to his colleagues- not good

- AnonI recieved a call from a very rude gentleman that did not have any intention of listening to what we had to say!We have requested several times that we are not interested in their services but obviously this has not been noted hence we have been contacted several times a day! Their customer service and communication skills are awful!!!
- KyonTry telling them that they need to speak to your purchasing department on 0870 312 0217. :)
- ButchI have been doing business with Creditsafe for the past 3 years and I have had no problems!!!
Yes the sales technique is different but it works for some people and it worked for me.
They are ruthless and will stop at nothing to get your business because they believe in the product they sell unlike others!!!
Keep up the good work guys....... I will be renewing next year - SOMETHING SUSPECT HEREThis thread has been quiet for six days, then five posts appear in the space of just half an hour all saying how good this outfit is. If that doesn't ring alarm bells I don't know what does.
- NickThey have caled me constantly for days since i said i was busy and he said well when i call back make sure you are sat down because this will knock you off your feet, hmm after what i've read on here the only thing likely to do that is the prices.
I'm going to email them now telling them to stop their monkeys calling me.
Creditsafe UK email ukinfo@creditsafeuk.com tel 02920 886500
My email was....
Please will you stop your monkeys calling me on 0844 3575990, smc couriers, salisbury
I am not and never will be interested in the services you offer, partly due to the hideous way you conduct business.
If the calls don't stop my next contact will be ofcom
Thank you- Caller: Creditsafe
- JohnI had a call yesterday, and told them not to call me again, referring them to the Telephone Marketing Regulations. They rang again today saying they could help my business. When I asked the man (yes...he was Welsh) who he was calling on behalf of, he said the 'Faith Group'. I asked him to repeat it to be sure what he said. When I asked for a phone number he gave me a number which I felt was ficticious, and was certainly not the number on my phone. At first he said the number was 02920 55663. When I asked him to repeat it, he said it was 88, then he said he could not hear me and hung up, presumably because he could not remember the number he had just given me.
- Caller: Faith Group / Credit Safe ?
- NickI've now has 23 calls from these [***], in the last 7 days, they do not respond to emails or any form of saying no on the phone, i've tried all of the following and more - no thanks, go away, not interested, are you f**king stupid or ignorant i'm not interested, i've reported creditsafe to ofcom please dont call again.
If they call you, please feel free to abuse at your leisure, if this persists i'll be personally cutting their phone lines.- Caller: Creditsafe uk
- NickThey just called again and left voice mail, said he was Daniel Brain from CSUK and could i contact him on the number given, so came online and also have an email now, they are certainly persistant.
I've emailed back a polite reply saying we are not interested and would appreciate it if we were not contacted again.
Can't see this being the end of their arrogance- Caller: Creditsafe
- AndyThey called me yesterday and wouldn't give up. I use the type of services they sell and tested them out with a company I know to be very 'dodgy'. Their software said the company in question had excellent credit worthiness and scored them at 83 out of 100. Bad thing for them is I know the company has filed false accounts last year and has been under investigation by Inland Revenue and a forensic accounting firm for the last six months. Told the salesman his database was inaccurate and therefore I wouldn't be buying. Guy got stroppy, put his 'supervisor' on who wouldn't take no for an answer either. So I hung up. I had customers to serve and couldn't be bothered going through it all again. He rang back 5 mins later and (seeing his number on my display) picked up and said "I'm not buying so don't bother". He said he didn't care whether I bought or not so I simply told him to F off and hung up. He hasn't rung back since.

- Andy (as above)TO SOMETHING SUSPECT HERE.
You're absolutely correct. The fact that one of the posts slags off Risk Disc proves the point. He says he was contacted a few days ago but knows that the system uses discs which he must have tried to 'know' they're rubbish. Actually, Risk Disc is good but expensive (again, I actually use these products). Credit Safe started off wanting 730 quid for theirs (plus vat) but as soon as I started bartering went down to £350. When I tested theirs out online, that's when I realised how worthless is actually is. How much do they value their product then? Pay peanuts get monkeys, and that is what Credit Safe have proved to me they are.- Caller: Creditsafe
- SOMETHING SUSPECT HEREAgain, after a bit of a gap, we have three testimonials, two of which were posted near enough simultaneously, the third just 14 minutes later.
More alarm bells ringing... - a1lock servicessthis lot got my business number from only one source, thomson where no one is supposed to make unsolicted calls off thier lists without paying for it!
My munber is not in any other listing.
Anyway whats really annoying is that these big compmanies seem to be able to get caller ID of a number that is NOT the number they actually ring from, its showing a number they want you to ring back on...
Now I could do with that at home, my called ID giving out an 0870 or similar number, sure stop a lot of wasted callers.
Theve just rung & I dont answer ANY witheld or anything that starts with 08**
Occasionly its BT so those I have logged as such.- Caller: unknown
- a1lock servicesIf its been creditsafe its caller ID ought to be 02920 886500

Actually, they use both. Indeed, the "actual" number behind the 0870 is the number you posted. As revealed when they called the 0870 312 0217 number I posted on the previous page. My switch showed their 0870 number, the log provided by my 0870 supplier gave the 02920 number! ;)
