Agreesive little welsh t**t been ringing me even though I told him I'm not interested since they ripped me off for a grand a few years ago so NOTE THIS they will sell you year 1 for any price - threepence if you stick them out - BUT if you don't cancel early enough they will charge you a grand for year 2 and sue you if you don't pay.  These people are scum

This outfit has just had a glowing news report on BOTH ITV Wales News at 6pm and BBC Wales Today at 6:30pm about the fact they're taking all their sales staff to Majorca for a free holiday to celebrate their sales success. Unbelievable.

"they are just sales people"...how rude. I have worked in sales for one of the companies you mention as an alternative provider. Did you know that only one of the companies is actually the licensed data owner?

I would find out a bit more before you comment in future and for you information I am paid a basic of 45k per annum, plus bonus on top.

I am not surprised that he called back and played that prank. When jumped up little secretary's speak to me like I am a piece of crap I remind them that the only power they have to make decisions in the company is when they feel like going to the toilet or not!

Well the welsh guy is still around just taken a second call from him over two days and no i will not be using his services.He did not really like me asking questions as to why he was calling and asking for the Finance Director.

Just received a phone call. Tried to offer their services, I have spent like 10 minutes politely explaining we don't need it at the moment and most likely not in the nearest future. And eventually I hear her saying: Ech...And she hang up on me!!! :)

Same guy! Welsh and persistant - said he was Gareth from Credit Safe - my number is TPS so I said I was going to make a claim against them and put the phone down....

Welsh girl claiming she is not selling anything, but they have a direct line into the Companies House and would like to offer the owner of the business free access to their services today to see how it works.  GG says oh, you are selling us credit services!  Welsh Girl says OH NO, we just want to offer a free trial.  GG replies you are definately selling us something and we are not interested, Good bye.  Welsh Girl spluttering all the while and GG hung up

No point in posters referring to the caller as Welsh, with or without insults. They are based in Wales which is why you get people with Welsh accents just as you would likely get a local accent wherever a company was based.

Just received a call from this number and they promptly hung up as soon as I said, "Hello?"  [***].

I received a call on my mobile phone asking for Mrs Hartford.   I explained that Mrs Hartford died 2 years ago - the young lady with a distinct Welsh accent apologised profusely, she then said could she speak to the company accountant, I told her that I am the late husband of Mrs Hartford and she asked if it was a private domestic number which I explained it is (actually it isn't) and she apologised again and hung up.   A lucky escape????

Its Creditsafe selling credit checking facilities

Yo, Creditsafe UK, Creditsafe Business solutions are wack. Risk disk now have 6,000 Customers rather than Creditsafe's 28,000 and we are getting more all the time. They're information may be more upto date than ours but its all about the customer service baby. Google us and call us and if anyone is around we'll answer and sell you the dream baby.

Creditsafe are only as big as they are today because they keep taking our customers with their stupid cheaper prices, better information and other things we can't do yet but one day we will. You'll see.

If you get a call from us answer it.

I had a call from them and they have me access to their service for a few hours. I must admit the guy was very nice and the service was great but not enough use to me for me to subscribe.
I notice they are ringing me now on my mobile. Hence looking up here. I will ignore. But I think the actual offering looks good for the right company

I've been a creditsafe customer for 6 years without problem - but I'm pretty sure that they (like a lot of companies including my own) outsource "Telesales" to 3rd party companys who call pretending to be from Creditsafe - fairly normal practice and BT, Orange, O2, and Utilities etc etc all do the same - so the staff who P you off on the sales calls are almost certainly NOT from Creditsafe but a battery hen outfit where the poor sods are paid per call / per lead / and targetted to make 100 calls a day.

I just reported them to the TPS - perhaps if everyone does this they might stop

Haven't tried that one, will give it a go, I have got to the point now where I am going to try the "uncomfortable phone call" teqnique, I am going to have a personal attack alarm next to the phone and when I get these type of call I am going to set off the alarm into the phone mic.

had these on earlier, call put through to me, on answer i asked who it was straight away, knowing it was a sales call, this welsh guy didn't answer just started reading his script. I asked what he wasnted, he started mentioning creditsafe, i said i chose to use their competition, he kept talking over me, so i did same back, repeating that i was not changing to them, he then snapped that i HAD to listen to him - phone down. Not rung back will get dealt with swiftly when they do

Received calls. Can hear person talking the other end ... but not to me!

I kept saying hello until the hung up after about a minute of this.

From what others are saying ... pest calls.

I have now added it my list of "Ignore Call" that does not ring any more and won't be bothered by them.
