I have received 2 calls from this number today, Jan. 15, 2008. I tried to answer the first time and nothing, no one answered.  The second time I ignored.

Received two calls and neither time did they leave a message

I got a call from this number today as well (01-24-08) I accidentally picked up and answered. It was a lady saying I won a $1000 online shopping spree...after 20 seconds I hang up! they called again in the afternoon.

Got 3 calls from this number today (1/24) all of which hung up after I said hello.  My phone service is through Nextel in CT if that helps at all.

Weird old lady repeatedly asking for "My First Name My Last Name" this is all she would say when I asked about 6 times "who is calling?" WTF?

I recieved two calls from them, the first time I answered they asked for me by name, then it sound like a fax machine tone came on and they hung up. It was weird.  I didn't answer it the second time.

why won't they stop calling!! They've called four times in two hours and they never leave a message. I finaly called it back and they just sat there without saying a word. These people are insane.

it's a landline number from Deerfield Beach, FL.

I got a phone call from this number this morning on my cell phone, I have Nextel too. i wonder if that has anything to do with it. I didn't even answer the phone. I curious to who it is.

I recive a call yesterday but a differnt number.

iv'e received two calls from them today on my Embarq land line, along with one on my Verizon cell phone. As soon as this started, so did the random text messages saying that i've won $1000. Every time they call my house, it seems to sound like a fax machine or just blank. anybody know how to get a hold of this company and tell them to stop calling???

They just called me again, and I answered the phone. The gal said she was calling from Acue Periodicals?!?!?! I told her to don't call me again and take my name and phone number off there list. How wierd is this!!!

I have got 3 phone calls in 4 days from this active periodicals. if you call and press #2 and leave your number they will remove you from their data base.  it will take up too 24 hrs but it will be done.

My son was being pestered by this company over some magazine subscriptions that they nagged him into getting, trying to talk him into signing up for more and more subscriptions. When he tryed to call the number on the caller ID it was an invalid number. The next time that they called he asked for a contact number to call them with and they wouldn't give him one. He we to the bank and was able to get this number, 1-800-476-3053, and canceled the subscriptions. It's now been almost a week and although they haven't refunded his money yet the pestering phone calls have stopped.

Same here, got the call twice saying that i good a $1000 dollar certificate. is all lie and scam. just tell them to put you in their do not call list. and if they keep calling back, make sure you get all their info and complain it to the phone company.

Just rcvd a called from 1800-476-3053, it was regarding a subscription too. They asked for my daughter who's a minor..... I ask to be removed from the calling list, the man apologized and said he would not call again-No name was given to me.

I received  a call from this number as a missed call two times. Since everyone receives them, I would not answer to this call next time, furthermore, I don't have enough free minutes remaining, this is an extra reason I didn;t answer
