They just call me a minute ago I didn't answer my husband told me not to so I didn't and they don't even left any voice mail it was wear because who is gonna call you from a 0000000000.

I received a call from a heavy accented Indian women requesting to speak to my grandfather who has been dead for 8 years. She told me that it was in regards to his conedison bill and to go get a bill, no matter how old so she can give him a 10% discount. I blatantly told her that she is scamming and to never call my home again. These foreign people need to stop calling and someone needs to something about this harassment to Americans coming out of the poonjob.

I got a cal from 000-00-0000 and I asked her to please stop calling this number. She said "no, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it." She continued by saying that I would never be able to stop her from calling and I would never be able to find out who she is! She called back 5 minutes later to say..."I told you so... talk to you tomorrow."
How can these be???

I got a call from 0000 and it asked me to give my computers IP address so he can remotely control my computer because apparently I've got a virus when I have 3 protection programs on my computer so i checked and it was no virus i hanged up on him but he called me back so I "played along" on my computer and i found out that it was no virus on the computer so then i told him if i did i would call a man out to do it and not him.

I would be grate full if you could give me any answers to this

Yes but the police can not trace the number because they have used this program to cover up there number but i would suggest to you logging this with the police and see what they can do

I got a call from 0000 asking for "sharanu". i dono who the hell is sharanu.His voice was like north karnataka people' voice. i said, u have dialed a wrong no.he just disconnected the call.

Received 2 calls with ID of 0000.  Did not answer either, but picked up voice message on one, which I could not understand so hung up before it finished.  One call came at 9:39 PM today and the other at 11:42 PM last night.

Got a call from unknown number and +0000 but both missed it. Dont know where the came from.

Most likely scammers/cold callers/whatever-you-wanna-call-em using some kind of system that hides their outgoing phone number.

Numbers that go through overseas call centres usually don't display a number, so people are less likely to answer those calls. If they can program their system in such a way that it displays something then it works in their favour. Of course that means that some callers can also use the same type of system to hide their real number and location.

I've received calls from 1 (yes, just the number "one" displayed on the phone's handset), 0000, 5 digit numbers, six digit numbers, and even numbers so long that they don't fit on the phone's display.

I have tried to look into this with a phone carrier. If any one continues to have these issues please visit

Got the same message gave me a number in 980, when I googled it some guy had posted he got the same number but with a different story to call it.  When I called the number a guy in a SE Asian accent said I owed money.  We got into a 'lively" discussion about it being a scam and he still waiting for the police or something until he finally hung up.  So hopefully that ended it.  But he called my buddy too which sorta freaked me out.

I'm from nz too and they keep phoning at like 11pm, NEVER anyone there
