I am getting the same calls from an indian man.  Did anyone have golden rule insurance or another health insurance company?  I got a letter stating they had release my personal information.  That is the only reason I can think of, that this person has been able to get my information.

I am not Indian. Stop jumping to conclusions. Call me back.

I have received multiple calls by this guy... a couple days ago he was Roger today he was John.  Same things as everyone else, legal action will be taken against me and whatever.  I looked into this and it is a major scam.  There are news reports with his call back # listed as a scam.  I reported him with the attorney general, icc and fbi.  When I told the caller I reported him and to stop calling me he asked "Are you some kind of idiot that can't answer a question" because he kept asking me to varify my name and I just kept saying "Stop calling me, do not call me, take me off your list, I will press charges".  Get as much info as you can from him and report it to various agencies... it's the only way he might ever go away.

why?? was it because they answered the phone?

Called my cell phone. Someone  with thick Indian accent.  Could barely understand what he said.  Lots of background noise, phones ringing, etc.  Something about a legal matter against me and my social security number.  Wants me or my attorney to call some 866 number.  I can only guess it's a feeble attempt at a scam to get your social.  P-L-E-A-S-E!!  Is anyone that stupid??

Got this call this morning....went to VM when I listened to it it was at first a ding sound then I could her a bunch of noise in the back ground like people talking.

They just called looking for my brother in law. Said they were a legal department with security legal loans? Gave me an 800 number to have him call back. Couldn't understand what she was saying and the background noise was people talking in different languages. Her name was Michelle Johns.

Same thing happened to me today, what can we do?

i been getting phone calls from 0000 for three days. with a india accent now asking about sex.

I've dealt with these scumbags before. They called me saying I have a pending legal matter. Officer Joseph Neman was the name he used. He was actually calling about a legitimate debt I have on an old payday loan. When he threatened to send police to my door, I became suspicious and called the original debtor. They said that the account had not been placed to an outside agency, and that I should be dealing with nobody other than them regarding the matter. I paid off the account, but the guy kept calling. I told him I know who he is and what he is up to, and called his bluff. I told him to go ahead and send cops to my door. Needless to say, the calls stopped after that, and no police ever came to my door.

I believe they are pulling info off Teletrak, a nationwide database for payday lenders, and calling people and scaring them into giving them money, posing as a collection agent for the original debtors.

I am having the same problem I told him that he was a scam and now he calls back everyday about 15tims and says obsence things I filed a police report and I went through my phone company so it can be traced what a jerk

This is the same crazy person who has been calling me non stop at home and at work about 10 times a day. I cant really understand what they are saying but what i could understand is that i took money from some company USA CASH ADVANCE... I wish i did have some money right now..lol so i told him i dont know the company and i never got any money from them he started yelling at me saying i took the money and he needs my attorney to contact him if not it would turn out real bad for me and he wish me the best of luck. when i said i dont know what kind of scam your trying to pull but it wont work on me he yelled some more saying you think this is a scam, i will have someone at your home your job. so i hung up the phone. but he still wont stop calling. i dont know what to do!!!!!

Received call from 0000.  However. When ignored call they left message.  I received call from these people b4 and actually the same person.  The number they left top call 646-580- 3094

I have received calls from this number twice now but they have never left a message nor have I answered it.  The first time I got the call I just thought it was a glitch until I Googled the number and found all of you with the sam issue.  I am an investigator dealing with mostly with credit fraud and ID theft.  I will get with a couple contacts of mine that are federal next week and see if they can find out a little more.  Boy, did this guy screw up calling me!

received a call from 0000 . for which they left a message in the vm. the  name was andy gibson  and that i had to have my attorney or myself  call asap -- and if i didn't  the was wishing me luck. phone #   left to be called   was 661-458-8195 found to be a landline in california .  is there anything that can be done to stop this.?

Got a call today from 0000 on my cell phone. It was a guy with a foreign accent. He claimed that there is a lawsuit against me and my social security number. He also stated that I owed a payday loan and proceeded to ask if I have an attorney. I tried to ask him for more information about this so called lawsuit and he wouldn't give any other details. I told him that I feel this issue is a fraud and I will be contacting the FBI. He proceeded to say that I will receive a subpoena from the sheriff by Monday. EVERYONE PLEASE KNOW THAT THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!

I received the same call too.  An Indian man with a thick accent.  When he told me of the debt, I told him I would pay it.  He said that I had a payday advance from a loan in Feb of 2009.  I went to my records at that time, and didn't see anything.  I asked the man for the address of his company, and for him to send me some documentation either through email, fax, or mail, but he refused to do that, and just wanted my CC number.  This is when I got suspicious, and asked him why he can't provide an mailing address for his company and documentation of the account. He just wanted my number, and I think that's the scam IMO.  They scare you in to paying them.

i been dealing with these fools for 2 years now. stating they are going to take me to court for an unpaid pay day loan ( needless to say i NEVER applied for one ) it gets so bad i just stopped anwering the phone and today they called my work ( its a national call center so to get to me you have to go through alot of ppl ) the lady who took the call sent an email to my manager that this person said that the cops are on their way to arrest me. i just laughed then i got embarred cuz i feel like my rep at work is being tarnished then i got pissed... im so waiting for them to call my cell phone then im going to hand it to my husband. when this first started 3 years ago i did get worried and called my bank there was never anything deposited for the amount that they are claiming and when i ask the guy for proof of the cancelled check he told me that they wont keep that imformation YEAH RIGHT...... if they call me again i will answer and i will laugh. i just dont want them to call my business.... i wish that there was something that can be done about this but it looks like there isnt.

I keep getting these same calls, today was a different man, same heavy accent though.  This time he had my social security number and wanted to verify it.  I have not spoken to them, they just keep leaving messages on my cell phone and work phone.  I have 2 lines at work and they were ringing at the same time for the 0000 number!  I forwarded them to voicemail and for about 5 minutes they kept calling back and leaving messages.  Persistent aren't they!!

They also want me or my attorney to call them.  Of course, I don't call them back, but since they have my social sec #, I will have to keep checking my credit reports to make sure they stay clear.  Does anyone know if you can report this to credit bureaus that someone that shouldn't have your social security number does?
