Hello. Call this evening at 7:45pm. Number was many zeros however 1741 seemed to cut out on some of the '0's so can;t be sure how many 0s there were. see also other entries on this webiste for various numbers of 0s!

Man's voice, sounded long distance, couldn't really hear, asked for Mrs ____ he given an incorrect sounding version of my name. I said hello, sorry can't really hear, then he said ok and put phone down.

The recent change recently was to sign in for online mobile phone account with T-mobile. Did it last night. So perhaps this is the missing link?

Hey guys! I received last night a call from a number with 8 x 0's. I answer and then I've got a busy tone. Seemed strange enough to do a google search....here I am. I'm from Italy. If someone has any explination I will be glad to read it! Thanks!

I have been receiving calls from unknown numbers, sometimes no number at all, then today from 00000.I don't answer calls from unknown numbers anymore but i wonder why i've been receiving such.

I used to get a cal two or three times a day, around 11am, 2pm and  6pm. It has gone down to about 3 times a week about 6pm just as I am sitting down to eat so I don't answer. I am ex-directory so where are they getting my number from

i live in sacramento,ca. about 4 months ago i recieved a phone call from this number. i didnt pick up,they left a voicemail adressing me by my first and last name (man with an indian accent, not very good english) requesting i call back. saying they are a law firm or some crap and that i owe their client money.i stupidly called back they asked to verify all my info( full name,adress,email,phone number and last 4 of my social) kept saying that a smaller branch of their client-insta cash- was suing me for the 8000 i owed.i have never recieved money from this company and kept asking who they were affiliated with. would not tell me who, finally put me on with his "supivisor' who kept on asking me why i was being contacted i continued to reply "NO, i do not understand." she was very rude and snippy with me,asked when a good time to send someone out to go over the suit with was. i said you do not have permission to come to my home.to make this a little shorter: they tried to send someone to serve papers which they never did, they said they had emailed me notifying i owed money wich they never did, said they'd send me a summons to court which i still havent seen. the man called me back saying he was trying to help me and i had a choice of sending him the money and giving him my account information now or finding an attourney. i told him i will find an attouney and see him in court. he said good luck and god bless and i hadnt heard from him till today when he left me a voicemail saying he needs to talk to me or my attourney or this will all me forced upon me and good luck and god bless you amanda.. full of [***],its a scam. im wondering how many others has had this experience happen to them ? thank you

Call recieved from 000-000 the Caller left Msg  on my Voicemail saying her Name was Shirley from some some some1.com spoke very bad English and said my Phone Number was pre Approved for a $6000.00 Loan I  was trying to figure out what she said gave me some Phone Number to call but did not understand. There was a lot of Noise in Backround soundet like a busy Call Center. Not able to Block with Phone Company bacause its not a real Number and they cant trace it

i keep getting calls from 00000000000 numbers they just leave a recorded message saying goodbye how do i stop it

Call tonight received here in London, Asian man asked 'are you the woman of the household'?  Reply 'who are you?' 'I would like to speak to the woman of the household about a survey' reply 'how did you get this number?  We are registered with the telephone preference service not to receive sales calls'.  Person hung up.  This came through on my VOIP number which has geographical 020 dialling number attached to it.

I have had similar cals, some fro, 00000000 and some from 23456789, in both cases, foreign (Indian?) voices. Tioday's one 29th Jan 2011, voice was female but too weak to understand and after a few moments, they hung up.
I am sure this is a scam and warn everybody NOT TO PRESS ANY KEYS, if might cost you dealry.

I keep getting calls from 000000 & 000. They have even called my job (how they got that info I'm not sure) asking my co-workers for my information.

Got this number ringing me all today every time I answered I got cut off. Finally got a call at 9:28 PM, I didn`t catch the name of the so called comapny, but it was an Indian accent asking me to do a survey,,, the first thing he asked was my postcode and as soon as I said I wasn`t prepaired to give him personal information he hung up.

By what I`ve read on here on here seems like they are calling everyone in the west and europe, (which suprised me, I thought it was just going on in England).
Obviously another blooming "Indian Scam artists" again wonder why it`s always from India!!!!.

But I`ll defo not be answering this number again

Fake Debt Collectors Terrify Consumers
Alleged Debt Scam Calls Threaten Consumers: 'Only God Can Help You Now'

It's a debt collection scam. And all their threats are false and illegal.

This is a very active group of scammers, many of whom are calling from India (and probably other countries) and are in cahoots with a group of American pay day loan scammers. They attempt to extort money from consumers with a myriad of false and illegal threats, and alternately pose as debt collectors, federal and state law enforcement officers, lawyers and bankers. Their trademark is to use meaningless legalese gobblygook phrases like "We are downloading warrants against you" or "We are filing an affidavit against you." Another trademark phrase is to threaten the consumer with something like this ridiculous phrase: "If you don't pay then only God can help you."

Typical of many financial scams of this variety, they usually demand payment via Western Union or MoneyGram or credit card. They use any number of phony names such as US National Bank, Federal Investigation Bureau, US Legal Investigation Bureau, Hopkins Law Office, United Legal Processing, Morgan Associates, United Pay Services, National Processing, White Collar Crime Unit and many more.  These criminals also use many phone numbers from many area codes; they're probably using caller-id spoofing software and/or VoIP to disguise their real location.

The main thing to remember is that anytime someone calls you demanding money to prevent your arrest, or demanding your lawyer's name so they can sue you, it is ALWAYS a scam. No debt collector (let alone criminals posing as debt collectors) has the authority to have anyone arrested for anything. (And it's illegal to them to threaten such a thing.) And since these foreign dirtbags routinely impersonate law enforcement, it's also important to remember that American law enforcement officers aren't in the business of debt collection.  (Debt is a civil, not a criminal, matter.)

The bottom line is, these are criminals trying to steal your money. CONTACT THE AUTHORITIES, ALERT YOUR EMPLOYER AND FAMILY MEMBERS, FTC, BANKS, CREDITORS, PUT A FRAUD ALERT ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT, ATTORNEY GENERAL AND FBI!! I DID..MY FAMILY IS OVER 50% LAW ENFORCEMENT AND WE ARE GOING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS!! THESE ARE A BUNCH OF IGNORANT BROKE A** SCAMMERS AND THEY NEED TO GET BUSTED AND DO TIME HERE IN THE USA SO THAT  THEY CAN LEARN THEIR LESSON!!!! EVERY DOG HAS THEIR DAY AND THEY WILL GET CAUGHT!!!! Got a blocked call. Decrypted the number and it comes back +000000. I got a blocked call earlier and when it came back it was 215-200-0000. Dont know if it has anything in common but i wouldnt answer

My wife has been getting these calls if she terminates it without answering she immediatly gets a call from an unknown number.. driving her crazy and me to as she now turns her phone off and even I cant get hold of her
