I got a call from the same number. I have been getting for a few days but either I didn't answer or no one else did until today. This Asian guy told me that it was some federal thing and that I was someone that was selected to recive 8,000 dallors to put towards anything I wanted being bills, meds, ect. Then he persisted to ask me if I was who I was and I said yes then he asked me my date of birth. I told him before I give anymore info out that I would like to look then up to make sure that this was real or a scam. He assured me it was real but wouldn't give me the information that I asked. I told him that this is for my protection and still wouldn't give it to me so I just hung up

This number has called me several times a week for months     I never answer them   You would think they would finally get the message that they are not wanted     I have asked BT who they are and they do not seem to know

I get at least one call an evening from 00000000, Yes that is eight 0s . It is an automated call,  I used to say hello  but now remain silent and after a few seconds the "call" is switched off.  I do not know who they are but I consider it to be a nuisance. I was advised by a workmated to call my phone service provider and that they would help to stop this number calling me.

I continue to get calls from this number but have never managed to speak to anyone yet   Probably lucky for them that I have not been around to answer as I intend to blast them off the other end of the phone

I received a call from 00000000. I answered it because I was curious to who it was, as I've never seen such a number. As soon as I answered it I heard some indian guy (not being racist or anything but I keep getting loan protection calls from these guys) so I ended the call. Then he had the cheek to call me 7 times in the space of 3 minutes, because I was ignoring the call when he called back the first time. Arghh I got so annoyed. But he eventually gave up. I'm so glad I brought a new sim earlier because i receive all these spam calls. Maybe I should start using it and be more careful who I give my new number too.

    HELLO replies to Eileen
We've had numerous calls over a two-month period from "Money Manager", sometimes asking for me, sometimes my husband, sometimes our son. They say it is about managing unsecured loans. Even though we have told them we don't have any unsecured debt and are not interested they keep phoning back - even when I have explicitly said don't call again. First they used the number 02030043199, then 00000000. And yes, the callers sound like they are from an Asian call centre.Caller: Money Manager

Had calls from this 'number' 2 times today, Asian guy asks for me by name, saying someone in the family has had a minor car accident and they can help, says he's from the Nationwide Advice Bureau. I have told them to stop phoning, but I can't report them because the number is obviously false.

There are a lot of obviously false numbers doing the rounds.    This number seemed to be acceptable to the phone systems that delivered it to you, so I suggest you report it.

A man with Indian type accent said I had had a car accident a few months ago. I said where did he get that information from. said he didn't understand me and would pass me to a colleague. Same thing said. When I asked where he was calling from he said Manchester. When I asked where he got the details from he said National data base. When I said it was rubbish and to take me off the data base he said he didn't understand . I repeated my request and he said again he didn't understand. I said get someone who does and he hung up. I dialed 1471 and it came up with the 8 zeroes.
