Report a phone call from 00000000 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- pitterpat replies to FlossieThis 00000000 number has called me 3 times today. I was curious and answered the last one, only to be hung up on. Why??????? Don't understand what the H*ll it's about. I've entered my # in the govt Do Not Call Registry but continue to receive annoying telemarketing calls, i.e. mortgage, etc calls. I've called back a couple of the numbers only to get a recording saying "if you want to be removed"......blah blah blah. WTH??????
- Xtal SSo far everyone I know has received a call from this number. My husband gets the call around midnight while my mom gets it during the afternoon. I won't answer calls from people I don't know, so good luck trying to sell me anything!
- ToyaI saw most of the messages above were from 2009.
I'm in 2014.
They called 6 times in 30 minutes. When I answered finally, it sounded like an Indian man talking through a tunnel. No discernible words were heard. - Craig - Oldham| 1 replyI've had 3 calls a day for the last 12 months from a stupid skype type number (00000000002) It's always the same asian guy and women who call themselves random male / female english names every call. It is usually early morning, afternoon then late at night they call and they claim to be from Microsoft Windows team and that our pc has a virus!. We've asked them nicely in the past to stop calling but the frequency of calls increased and now we are at our wits end because now we are getting other PPI claim automated calls aswell.
The abuse of UK phone numbers is scandalous because even if you ex-directory like we are it just continues. Change numbers and it's still the same. These stupid 00000000 numbers cannot be blocked either. It is so obvious that our telecom compaines are selling our numbers to marketing companies regardless of whether you opt out or not. - JanaeThey called

- SI had this number call me couple of times in a past month so i decided to answer it just out of curiousity - so the phone rings at 7pm- first it was weird background noises and after few long seconds men starts speaking in a accent that i couldnt recognize- sounded like oriental woices in the background- at first i taught the guy was drunk- he was dragging words- and i didnt understand much at the begining- then as i recognize my last name- i responded - that it is the person he is trying to reach- and he states he is from a government grant agency and i have been selected a grant for a 7000$- as i have had experience of this kind of calls a lot in the past- i just carried along the conversation as i know it is false -and just kept saying- ok- alright- wonderfull - and the guy kept n repeating about the grant - and that he is about to give me some number that i would have to call there etc- long story short- i asked the guy- where is that you exactley calling from?- he told me Washington DC- ok- i asked a question again- So- how come you are calling me at 7pm?- government buildigs are closed at this time- n he persisted that they are open and its only 5.30pm in Washington DC- as i live right outside Washington DC- and i told him so and that it is 7pm and than he better stop calling people n lying - he mentioned- well let me check the time again- and he hung up- unbeleavable- a people like this can manage to get phone numbers n think that people will fall for then false statements!

- Fred Boats replies to SageComputer Maintenance Dept of Windows -- I said he was trying to steal my money. and SURPRISE.
He ADMITTED he was trying to steal money because of the extreme poverty. He actually used the word SCAM.
I asked if he was phoning from Nigeria and he said India.
He then said his friend was in hospital and could I please send him $100
I then said if I sent him $100 he would know my bank details
He then played the "Western Union" trick
I said he was probably living in a mansion and told him stop wasting him time and money on phoning UK as we all knew it was a con then hung up. - val replies to Sage00000000 called me regarding my accident that I had in the last 3 years, it was an english voice but I said I'd never had an accident she then asked if anyone else in my family had had an accident
- smanCreate a new contact in your phone called say "Spam Calls". Add spam number to the spam calls contact and save. Edit spam calls contact and select send caller directly to answer phone. Them save. You will only recieve the call once and they never leave a message. Then add all future spam calls to same contact. If you reach your limit for numbers per contact create a new contact. "spam calls 2".
Back up your contacts so you dont have to repeat the process when you upgrade your phone.
Enjoy!! - Sunny Suffolk replies to Craig - OldhamBit grey and windy outside so I decided to check our true call unit. The above 'phone number has
tried many time to get through. Our true caller unit blocks them all. So when the sun comes out
again, will I have to run inside answering useless calls? NO. All international calls blocked.
Numbers that we aren't happy with get added to zap list as well.
