    wow
    the way they get all the info is from a us company that subs out there contracts to the middle east because it is cheaper to pay them than it is to pay Americans then they sell your info to other companies in there country that try to scam us out of our hard earned money all the major mortgage companies us these companies to service some part of the loan that we take out threw them we think our info is safe but in reality it isn't the only reason I know this is because my husband has worked for several of  these companies threw his career

    They keep ringing my parents land line and asking for me. My mum says it is a man with a very strong indian accent that can hardly be understood. She tells them I'm not there and to ring my mobile but they just keep ringing back...

    Have received numerous calls from this number. All asking about my credit liabilities and that they can help.... thankfully I don't need any. My daughter often gets calls from them and sometimes they do not speak when they do call us.

    What are they after??

    Getting calls from this 'government-sponsored' debt advisory company pretty much everday and twice today so far. Last week I got into an argument with one of their operatives because I told him I wasn't interested in what they were selling. He got shirty and rude and insisted they aren't selling anything. I told him to remove us from whatever database they use to cold-call people. Again today, I told them to stop calling us because we have no interest in hearing what they have to say and nor would I want to give any details about my financial situation to some dodgy Indian call centre. Next time I'm going to ask to speak to a manager so I can give them a piece of my mind!

    Called several times over last few weeks. Never leave a message. I did however answer the phone to them on Saturday 31st Feb' An Asian sounding woman asked for me by first and last names and said she was from "Debt Manager". I informed her that I had no use for their services and please not to call me anymore. They phoned again on the Sunday and got me at a bad time! I shouted two words at them, the second one being Off! The phone went dead and I have heard nothing further from them.

    So fed up of this number calling I eventually answered.  It was an Indian gentleman from a Debt Advisory service.  To be fair on him as soon as I asked him not to ring this number again as I was registered with TPS, he assured me I would not be bothered again.

    This number has been calling us since November last year. We have told them not to call here anymore it doesn't work, ignoring the calls seems to make them call even more - 5 times in the past hour. So fed up they have woken my baby daughter up on numerous occasions calling at unsociable hours. How do we get them to stop???

    Just received a call (again!) from an Indian lady showing caller ID 00000000 "Debt Managers". After explaining that I was registered with the TPS I managed to speak to a manager "Vikram" and asked for their companies registered address and name of the Director, in order to make a formal complaint to the TPS / Ofcom. He refused to provide these details which I said was an offence as it is information that is in the public domain. I kept him talking for several minutes and the only information that he would provide was that they were based in Leicester and that my details were taken from a "commercially available source", whom I may have registered with for products / services from another company which presumably they have then bought (this should be outlawed!). He assured me that my details would be taken off their database. Fat chance I think, so should this continue next step TPS, Ofcom and BBC Watchdog, I think!

    Best thing to do.  Find some appropriate indian language "wav" files
    from internet and start playing it on your computer whilst asking them
    to hold. There some good Belching wavs here !!!

    Oh and try this one to play to them. Scroll down and
    click on them to open .In sure they'll get the message
    after 5 minutes of listening.   When they call I
    politely say "Hold on minute"   and set the speaker phone next
    to my computer speak and then play a few till they
    disappear;

    We are constantly getting calls from 0000000000 at work.  Nobody is on the other end when we answer so I have no idea why they continue to call but I would like it to stop, or at least know what they're calling for.
