Hi, i would  suggest that you buy a Cordless Telephone set that has Call Block in it. There is a Panasonic Cordless phone set that has Call block built into it. You can block up to 30 phone numbers of your choice. and you can also block callers that come in without a phone number, like Private callers, Anonymous, Blocked, Restricted, Out of area, Unknown Caller, and Unavailable  and Long distance calls too.  or, you can subscribe to Call Screening service witch is a calling feature provided by your Telephone company.  But, Call Screening feature service is not available in all areas from your Telephone company.  So, if your Telephone company does not provide Call screening, then just buy the Cordless phone set that already has Call block built in it.

Got one of these today despite having call-barred the "all-the-zeros" number before. They claimed to be from "Money Management" whoever they are, and were looking for a person who doesn't exist. When I pointed this out the guy (Planet India, obviously) went silent. After a minute or two waiting to see what he'd say, I hung up. And call-barred it again. Bet it still doesn't work.

just got a missed call today from 00000000. so i decided to search this number. glad i clicked to this site.thanks for the infos you shared guys. i'll warn my family and friends bout this. tnx again! :)

Just had the call from 00000000, strung them along for 5 mins, spoke to 2 people giving false info, then was in the middle of being transfered to someone else then I hung up.  Got a phone call from an english person 08443574506 who seemed to be a genuine debt person.  I would still avoid this number.

I've had 6 calls from this number in the past 2 weeks.  have a caller-display phone and caller ID on my phone line,so it's easy for me to screen calls.I can also screen calls actively by pressing screen button on the phone. The first time this caller rang my answer machine was on a short delay,so the caller actually got me machine. The 'message' was just a click and then a noise sounding like the high-pitched noise you get when you accidentally call a fax number. The second time it was on a long delay so by the time the
'caller' got through they had hung up.
Weird.
although i knew from the beginning this was some kind of scam and have never answered the calls (I also have no debts whatsoever so knew it couldn't be a creditor calling, and also knew it was a fake number) BUT IT'S ANNOYING! It wastes the space on my answering machine, as well as being time wasting in that if the phone is in another room and I get up and go through the house or downstairs etc. to answer it, then find that it is this scammer, I have interrupted whatever I was doing FOR NOTHING.
Pointless asking the phone co to block it assooner or later it will just be a different number - or different caller.

saw the caller ID and didn't answer just like 0301 I won't answer anymore...

00000000 has called 5 times and each time I didn't answer.

4 times in the last hour!!  When I answer, no one is there, and the call hangs up. Should I call my carrier

Just got called by this number despite being registered with TPS. They hung up immediately on answering.

I just had one of these calls. At first there was just background call centre type noise, then a male English voice came on and said "I don't want to talk to you", so I hung up. Strange!

MONDAY 2ND NOVEMBER

HAD 6 00000000 CALLS IN 1HR 30MINS. EACH TIME CALLER PUT PHONE DOWN WHEN I ANSWERED. I CALLED TALK TALK WHO TOOK 20 MINS PASSING ME ROUND FOREIGN DEPARTMENTS, EVENTUALLY SAYING THAT I COULD PAY £3 18 PER MONTH TO BLOCK UNWANTED CALLS.....I RECKON I HAD ALREADY HAD 3 MONTHS WORTH!

A SCAM!, I got a call enquiring if I have put in for my grant for loft insulation stating he was a Government rep. They requested personal details.

Had loads of calls recently, mostly it's an automated caslling system which hangs up when I answered.
Just managed to speak to a guy who was calling (I picked the phone up very fast on first ring)
Asked him for his full contact details.
He said he was new, just started today, then put me on hold for a few seconds and he came back with the following info:
Their Contact phone number : 01628 703215
Their Company Name : Grants 4 You

I am about to report them to TPS and Ofcom for making these unsolicited and silent calls

Everytime I get a out of state call I just start speaking spanish. They just hang up. Sooner or later the caller will speak spanish...then I'm screwed!

Had a comment from same number sound Asian and said that someone with this number has had a serious accident when asking who or why they hung up.
