we've been getting calls from this number a couple times a week.  It's a recording telling me that the warranty on my car is about to expire (not true, my car's warranty has already expired, looong ago).  What kind of number is this? 000-000-0000, that's not a real number!

I have receiveed this call about 3 times a week fro the last few weeks buty never answered it.  Today I answered, they said it was Bell Canada and wanted to know if I was the owner of the number (I am but I wasn't telling that to someone I don't know) I said no and he said that if I wasn't the owner of the number then it would have to be disconnected.  He was very rude!  I called Bell Canada and reported it to them, they have no record of anyone from Bell calling me today, so it is a big scam!

000-000-0000 calls my place of work at least twice a day.  When the phone is answered there is never anyone there.

I got call today from a number 1-000-000-0000 and there is no one there so i thretened to kill thier family

I receive calls from this number every single day!! and its always in the morning when im in class. I have called my provider (at&t) but they cannot but any blocks on that number. I also tried to count the numbers they have called on my bill when it came...and it never showed up that they ever called!!! how weird! i call them aliens! they need to get a life!

I have a standard phone and my cordless answering machine right next to it.

Answer the standard phone, hit the 1 wait till the telemarketer picks up, crank the volume on the speaker phone, turn on the speaker phone then put the standard phone next to the speaker.... the feedback will take out their hearing!!!

The key is FEEDBACK!!!

I just look this up because it just happened to me about 2 min ago...and it was the pretty creepy. I first saw the number and debated whether to pick up or not, eventually did, then the person was talking in what im pretty sure was arabic. No lie. I stared at my phone for a few seconds while sort of listening to what was being said and hung up. I might be over reacting but I'm not one to get easily scared.
WTF was that about!

I started receiving these calls a couple of months ago. One every two weeks, I don't answer phone calls with numbers that I don't know. Then it increased, like to 6 and 7 times a day.  Finally a couple of days ago, (I work nights and sleep days) I answered it, I needed my sleep. My phone calls does not have a person on there, it just says "Hold for an important message". I hold, cause I want a live person to come on the phone so I can tell them to quit calling, then it finally started in with a real loud screech and the I hear, "If you would like to make a call, please hang up and try again"...I need this to stop and I can't get in touch with anyone. Does anyone know who I need to go to??? As is said, I work a 12 hour shift at night so that doesn't give me much time to sleep during the day, and I need some sleep...

000-000-0000 recorded message about my credit card, the offer is to lower my interest rate but I had to press 1 to talk to operator or 3 to cancel....can't I just hang up? Sounds scammy slimey

got a call 0000000000.. these telemarketers will do anything to get some pne to answer the phone .. it could have a virus in it ..anything to disrupt  people's lives.. i say.. if we wanted to knw about your business we would take the time to look it upand call them.. right .. down with random telemarketers..

We have been getting calls from 000-000-0000 for weeks; day and night including Sundays. The FTC and the Attorney General's office are so overwhelmed with complaints from scammers and telemarketers they just can't keep up. There is no simple solution unless you're willing to change your phone number which we all know is an incovenience. When I get that call or any other telemarketer I simply play music at full volume: We Will Rock You (Queen) works very well!

I get phone calls from 000-000-0000 at 3am from someone trying to send me a fax.  Caller ID shows "PrivDirOff" as the caller name.  I've registered on the DNC list and I'll check to see if I've got call block on my phone.

My friend prank clled me and somehow got the number to be (000)-000-0000. So there's some trick of how to do this [***]. But i can't find out how.

These people [***] call me 5 times a day next time they call I'ma curse their [***] out I don't give a [***] ! [***] man!

I believe that there is a rule (maybe in the US only) that telemarketers MUST display their phone number... and my guess is that some re entering THIS as their "number."

I have answered and been connected to a telemarketer. When I asked to be removed from the calling list, I was transfered to someone who said she was deleting my number... and I haven't received a call from them since.

I am getting calls from 000-000-0000. I finally got fed up yesterday and answered it. I get this loud ships horn in my ear and then this voice this is your captain speaking you have just won an all expenses paid cruise. Give me a break! Nothing free in this world! I am very sick of telemarketers I have made a decision any 800, or numbers I dont't recognize I am just not answering it's a waste of time.
