00-0000-0000
Report a phone call from 00-0000-0000 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- cynthia| 61 repliesI just received a recorded message about activation of my new Lowe's CC from GE. The call came up 000-000-0000 on my caller ID. I have never seen this come up before. Usually the caller ID comes up unavailable.
- Caller: GE
- Call type: Valid
- Dennis| 15 repliesI would get a call everyday around the same time, usually around 4 PM CST. The called ID would display Unavailable and the number showed 0000000000. Finally, my wife decided to answer the call just to see who it was. The person at the other end asked for me by name and said that his boss was willing to buy my late model SUV (even knew the make and model) from me at top dollar.
My wife told him he we were not interested and hung up.
He called again the next day about the same time, and asked for me once again. My wife asked him if he was the same person that called yesterday and he said he was. She then told him not to call again.
So far, he has not called back. I could just imagine what kind of scam this was! - unknoawn| 39 repliessomeone has also been calling me on this number but on my house phone and when u try to answer it is hangs up, any one know how to block it??

- Digg| 15 repliesI got a second call from 1-000-000-0000 today on my t-mobile and it actually went to my voice mail. I went ahead and listened to it and at first I could hear a bunch of tele-marketers in the back ground then right before it disconnected I could hear a clear, yet slow nasaly inhale and then a deep sigh. It was freaken funny. Some guy sitting at work disgusted with his job. Pathetic. I think I'm going to save the voicemail and record it for the world to hear on youtube. Ha ha ha ha, me chocking on my laughter. Haaaaaaaaaaaaa

- Chel Santos| 6 repliesgot a call from this number at 3.14AM on my mobile!
- Dana| 9 repliesCalls from 000-000-0000 are mostly from telemarketers or collection agencies. If the calls are persistant like numerous calls per day, it's most likely a collection agency.
I'm not sure what the laws are regarding telemarketers, but I know that "caller ID spoofing" is highly illegal for a collection agency to use. If you answer and it is indeed a collection agency, quickly report them to your state Attorney General's office, as well as the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov).
Both these government agencies are responsible for consumer protection and should always be notified if you are being harrassed by ANY collection agencies (especially ones that resort to illegal means of contacting / harrassing you against the FDCPA guidelines). - Just Me| 10 repliesI have been getting these 000-000-0000 for at least a couple of weeks now and it is getting more frequent. - rose| 1 replyThis phone is being used by different companies so that you do not know who is calling. In my case it is GMAC because my car payment is late..although I have told them to stop calling and sent them a letter, they call at all hours of the day.
- Caller: GMAC
- SiamI was getting the (000)000-0000 call about every ten minutes today.
It started calling persistently about a couple days ago, but less frequent (at least every hour, up until 9pm). I refused to answer such a mysterious #.
This afternoon, totally pissed, I finally answered "Hello??"
Following a brief pause, a woman asked for my father by name ("he's not home"). So she then proceed to recite something about ballots, along with details on my potential vote for mayor Hickenlooper.
When she was finished I said "Okay." She thanked me, hung up, and I have yet to hear from that damn number again. - Brenda| 1 replyI get a call from this number on my cell phone every week or so. It is a Blockbuster recording telling me my DVDs are overdue. I don't rent from Blockbuster
- Caller: Blockbuster
- ly| 18 repliesI have been receiving calls from 000-000-0000 for about 6 weeks on my home fax machine. Finally, some one was there and when I told them that it was a fax line they asked why I had answered it. I explained that the fax machine is driving me nuts as they wiil call my house at night and the machine wakes up my kids. I asked to be removed from their call list and was rudely told it was a business call and to confirm my address. I refused to confirm anything and told the lady to stop calling. She proceeded to tell me yet again that it was a business call and I needed to confirm my address and as well would not tell me what company she was with. I told here to confirm her number and company name with me and was informed that she would not. I finally told her to shut up and listen to me and she said she was going to hang up. I said good and do not call back. She'll call back this afternoon with my luck!
